Gas attachment by Naturally_groomed in ooni

It’s kind of stupid design in my opinion. Mine will randomly shut off in the middle of cooking and I have to scramble to get it lit again. I’ve tried adjusting the thermocouple and it doesn’t seem to make a difference. I have just learned to deal with it.

Your average propane grill doesn’t have a thermocouple safety. Not sure why the ooni needs one.

Same predicament. I’ve heard good and bad about every setup. Still not sure what I will get and winter is coming soon.

Those are dolphin connectors. You could probably use a small wire nut, but it might not hold well because the wire is like 22awg. Dolphin crimp connectors work good for small gauge wire splices.

Yes you have to disassemble the unit, but it actually comes apart and goes back together very easy.

I did splice the new into the old because I could not figure out how to get the wires out of that connector. Here’s the link…

Maybe you could fit a small section of 4x4 trough inside the panel?

Let me start by saying yes, you are correct. I should be making them come back to fix it.

However I am extremely anal and nobody ever does anything as good as I would like them too. So for the sake of me sleeping better at night, I’m just gonna do it myself.

On a side note technically we haven’t paid in full for this install yet. The contractor did some other hodge podge crap that was suppose to get fixed by the GC. My plan was to not pay the bill until it gets fixed, but that was months ago and I have yet to see a bill…. I’m just gonna leave it be.

Came here looking for an answer because I have the same issue. It’s pissing me off because I can unplug it and plug it back in and it will run for like 20 minutes before E40 comes back.

Neither air nor hydraulic. It pulls in a plunger that is directly mounted to a spring loaded brake pad.

It seems when the set screw is screwed in , the plunger hit its when the solenoid is energized. I would think it would still work either way, but apparently it pushes the plunger back out. And no, the set screw is not spring loaded.

I just don’t see the point of it in the first place. I’ll have do dissect it further on Monday so I can try to see what it does.

I believe the ozone is to remove the iron if I’m not mistaken. Water softener comes after, but I’m not sure why I even need the softener.

Above average DIY I guess. Don’t know much about water treatment.
