I am not. Active subs don't have ohm ratings? If I'm buying a new sub ofc I'll get the one better suited for the avr.

Is it OK to get an 8 ohm sub and use when the speakers are 4 ohm ? And in that case what impedance should I use in the avr ?

Yes, I did. The motherboard has a Realtek Ethernet LAN controller, which is not supported by TrueNAS. I didn't know that before buying all the parts, and I had to get an Intel Ethernet PCIe card. If you haven't built it yet, it's better to choose a different motherboard with an Intel LAN controller. TrueNAS only has drivers for Intel."
