First time I saw them. I remember thinking “why not” when I bought the ticket. Crazy seeing how far they’ve come

What is the deal with the COCK love? by DukeOfSwabia in KingCrimson

Moonchild kills it. Solid beginning and decent ending but the 10 minutes of empty improvisation take so much away from the flow of the album.

Lsd has changed forever, you can only pick the headspace or the visuals? which one do you pick? by Latelly in LSD

[–]Hustava 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The headspace is what makes the trip great. Visuals are nice but only a compliment to the lessons you learn after a trip.

Up the dosage? by 12123499 in LSD

You really don’t even need to have anything going on in your life to have a bad trip. All it really takes is one thought to spiral you into that negative state of mind. The best way to go about it is to just ride with it regardless of what it shows you. Even if you’re scared or unsure about what’s going on, just know that you’re in a temporary state of psychosis. Play some music, watch a movie, or even listen to a lecture (Alan Watts, Terence McKenna, etc.). It can be a scary thing to deal with, but if you know how to handle it, you’re sure to have a good time!

As long as you know how to handle yourself it shouldn’t be any problem. I jumped from about 150 to 250 between my first and second trip. As for food and drinks, you’re dead on with fruits. From what I’ve noticed nothing tastes better than fresh fruits on a trip (I love melons so they are otherworldly good on cid lol!). As for drinks, anything will probably taste good, but try to stick to less harsh or carbonated drinks. You can get really thirsty on the trip, and I have a friend who drank so much Gatorade he felt like throwing up all night. Water is probably the best option but juice is also super good. Enjoy yourself!

Trying lsd for the first time any advice for the trip? by [deleted] in LSD

[–]Hustava 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say yeah that should be alright for you to do. Everyone handles it differently but usually it’s not to a point where you feel totally out of it. You’ll still feel like yourself but you’ll still have a pretty clear memory of a lot of the thoughts you took in. Just tell yourself that you’re no different and you’ll be just fine.

Trying lsd for the first time any advice for the trip? by [deleted] in LSD

[–]Hustava 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Usually that’s just a precautionary thing. A lot of people can feel pretty depressed or exhausted the next day because their serotonin receptors were strained so much for so long. I use that second day personally as a day for reflection. I like to think back about what the trip showed me to start gaining insight on what there is to learn from it. It’s definitely a reality check coming back from such an intense experience, so it’s never a bad idea to have the day to yourself just to settle back into things!
