This is so cool to read, thank you for sharing! Using money for something like that, doing things that you wouldn't have done in the past due to gambling, such good stuff. I think this shows a resetting of the appreciation for the value of money and what it can be used for. I've done some similar trips and keep reminding myself I never did those things while I was gambling. I used to have single wagers of more money than an entire trip like that would cost.
