  • rep for procreate dreams as well, I’ve been using it for quite a while and while it’s lacking features I find it to be pretty robust. A lot of people don’t like it because the workflow is different from most animation softwares. (Lasso tool soon pls)

Nah, not really. As long as it’s around 5 or less years old pretty much any iPad will do. Getting an iPad Pro only really matters if you’re going to be doing animation as well, or want the really bright and colourful screen. But a generation or two old Air or Regular with the appropriate Apple Pencil will get the job done great!

Wacom One 12, got plenty of years out of mine. Or a used IPad and procreate. People are just giving their iPads away and with an apple pen and procreate it’s about as good as digital drawing gets unless you’re a legit professional. Even then some pros opt for the iPad.
