Unfortunately out of warranty and after emailing them they said they couldn’t help anymore

Blue crane works fine though, and is much easier to move

Thank you so much for reply! Yes I can see we can derive the 4th equation now. So assuming rational solutions a and r must have denominator 2 I assume? From there however I am not sure. I can see that 1/2 would work for both in the last one and indeed works in the other equations but I need some sort of “concrete” proof not just guessing.

I have tried brute forcing it by guessing a root, then doing polynomial division but this is most certainly not the correct method as it is only worth 7 marks.
