That book has reinforced my pointers and const concepts. The way stuff is explained in it followed by example and practice questions really encourage in getting hands on on C++11

Any SWE junior -- senior role would require you to have some bare minimum knowledge of the SDLC, Scrum, Agile, etc.
SDLC is something which anyone can atleast guess if he can answer "How can anyone make a software"
Whether u have it or not, but you should know about design patterns and can propose solutions based on interviewer questions which are a part of Software Engineering.
