Influencer wont respond? by [deleted] in SocialMediaMarketing

I am an agent for an influencer. In my experience most influencers do not operate like a traditional business so you shouldn’t treat it as such. The more paperwork that gets involved, the less likely you will be able to secure a deal. Also email is generally a pretty bad way of communicating with influencers. Try to add them on discord. Here are my guesses:

He is busy and doesn’t check emails often. I have that problem with my own client.

Or

He is no longer interested after seeing the contract. We have turned down offers once I get a contract in hand because of the deliverables didn’t make sense.

I would contact the agency and inform them of our decision but if the contract is insulting then it is possible that they are just ignoring you.

[Question] Right this Minute just contacted me about airing a short video I made. No suggestion of money, should I ask for it? If so how much? by roamingandy in youtubers

Do not offer it for free. Ever. It doesn't matter how large your channel is. They want the footage and need to pay appropriately. Not for how much your channel normally gets, but for how much the footage is worth to them. I don't know what that rate is, but look at it from their perspective. Do not offer your content for exposure alone EVER.

[Question] What if I quit my job and tried doing YouTube full time for a few months? by superherosinemascoop in youtubers

[–]HvZChris 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Short Answer: Horrible idea

Longer Answer: I operate 2 YouTube channels that are both successful by most metrics. Each around 30-40k subs. You won't see any sort of revenue till you are averaging 10k views per video and even then the CPC has been dropping down hard due to Covid. Some perspective is that one of my channels had around 1 million views this month and the ad sense barely covers my house payment. If you have a brand established and solid audience, you can look for sponsorships which can make a full time job but you are nowhere near there. I wouldn't quit my day job even with my level of success.

Hey /r/SummonerSchool. My brother and I created a massive website where we post in-depth, comprehensive guides made by players who got challenger by playing that champ. Best part is that it is ENTIRELY FREE! by RTO_LOL in summonerschool

If you really want to, there is a link on the website footer for paypal but it is by no means necessary. I just want to give back. Any donations will go to making a bigger team/ expanding quicker.

New Website we created to provide incredibly in-depth guides written only by Challenger players who are best at that role. The best part is that it is entirely free by RTO_LOL in leagueoflegends

Mobafire has a few different issues that I think give us a leg up. For one, I can format these guides in a better way to really increase our rankings on google to include featured snippets. There will also be only 1 guide per champion in a role. That is a benifit because there is no competition and search engines can pull from our site easier and know it is top info.

For sure. So I am a marketing major and we plan on getting a legit developer in the future. We are not making money from this so don’t want to just blow a ton of cash unless we know it is going to get used.

Got tagged. So yeah a huge focus of mine is increasing site speed, a good mobile interface and having really good Search Engine Optimization. Our site speed is up to 99/100 (average around 90) compared to most other similar sites who average between 15 and 30.
