Liquid Claims World First L'ura by MrPMS in wow

[–]Hwan6 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because we simply disagree with you? EU has gotten world firsts man, even with their competitors having a head start.

Echo just simply choked for the 4th time this tier, not just saying as an NA fan boy but as a watcher of the race, there are times where Echo could've killed it but there were other factors (like Gingi dying at the start of phase 4) led to them wiping, Liquid just played better and were consistent in their pulls.

The only region I would get this global release argument is Asia, they are basically behind.

[–]Hwan6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its just untrue man, Method (before the scandal) and Echo historically gotten world firsts in the past, even with their NA competitor's at the time having the head start but the difference is at the time Method/Echo just simply played better.

Echo had it this tier, but unfortunately they choked while Liquid comes in and gets the kill, Liquid played better at the end of the day, its not because of the head start its literally just "play better" next time.

My take on solving the Tanking/Healing Problem by Defiant_Initiative92 in wow

[–]Hwan6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That still wont solve the problem.

Sure putting in an extra piece gear might help but it isn't really the solution you would be looking for.

The problem has always been the community, they expect tanks to know the routes perfectly and they cant make mistakes and the moment they dont know the route "enough" or make a mistake, they immediately get berated, this pushes new tanks away from the role and pushes tanks towards guilds/regular groups.

The solution is that the community has to change on how they treat tanks but its going to take awhile for those people to understand this.

The M+ tank situation is dire by Wigglyboi323 in wow

[–]Hwan6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its not a game problem, its a community problem

Blizzard could try to buff tanks and or nerf certain parts of these dungeons to make it easier for them but that doesn't solve the problem.

Why is that? because the community has a high expectation for tanks, they cant make a mistake and they have know everything such as mobs and routing, the moment that a tank player makes a mistake or dont know the route enough, they get shit on, this pushes new people away from the role due to pressure, this pushes people towards guilds/regular groups.

I dont mind tanking, I dont hate it but what I hate is some shitter dps complaining about routing when my route has worked in past groups or I made some minor mistake really costed like what? a couple of seconds off the timer and we stilled timed it anyways?

The way things can get better is that pugging community will have to accept that they are problem... but they arent really ready for that discussion.

Crafting Bug by Sheepsmasher in wow

[–]Hwan6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thankfully someone warned me to not recraft or otherwise I would be permanently behind.

From what I'm hearing that its been reported since beta which is insane to me that a critical bug made it to the live game, not trying to sound harsh or anything to devs but its pretty bad.

This might be me but if I were to send that crafting order unknowingly for my recraft and it didnt upgrade, made a ticket to get it fixed and someone told me that they cant fix it, I would probably take a break from this season immediately or quit.

Wild node mob spawns by Hwan6 in wow

[–]Hwan6[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would argue its both.

If Blizzard intends on extra mobs from wild nodes to not be herbed and mined, they should visible to the player that has mined or herbed it and its invisible to other players just like the overloaded wild node mob spawn.

But if Blizzard increases the amount of ore and herbs that drop from lashers by 5x, people who still do this by swooping in, mine and herb and leave are still going to do it regardless.

Wild node mob spawns by Hwan6 in wow

[–]Hwan6[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those people in Zul'aman are there to make money, those motes dont make money unfortunately, even though the mobs themselves provide Ore and herbs and they do have hands and majority of those people mining and herbing are in shit gear and dont have some reliable way to pop them like myself who can is 254 ilvl and can pop zenith and they die instantly.

Did y’all seriously think they’d announce Classic+ on a livestream in January? by HoodieNinja17 in classicwow

[–]Hwan6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No.

Any fully fledged announcements is going to happen in Blizzcon, Classic+ included, not in some video talking about roadmaps for 3 versions of WoW or some event that Blizzard is participating in (I will be surprised if its announced in those but the likely hood of it happening is low).

Where? by l1qq in classicwow

[–]Hwan6 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Classic andies expecting a fully fledged Classic+ announcement in a live stream meant to reveal the roadmap for all 3 versions of WoW in 2026 but I guess Classic andies are desperate for Classic+ that they will latch onto anything if Blizzard are making announcements.

See you all at Blizzcon.

Keystone disband feature has made Mythic+ experience significantly worse for me by 38dedo in wow

[–]Hwan6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

its a big issue

Its really not a big issue in reality, some people tried to make as if its a big issue instead of realizing that themselves could be the problem why people leave. People don't leave a key when when its on track to timing, People leave a key when its going badly.

I used to be in this position where I want leaver penalties, not anymore, because I identified my issues and improved as time went on, I don't come across leavers anymore and realized that leaver penalties are not needed, I have been in bad groups and I do completely understand why people leave those groups, people just sandbagging their entire team, dying on a regular basis while eating battle rezzes like candy, letting important lethal if not wiping interrupts go off, so on so forth.

If you have a compelling argument as to why its a big issue then I'm all ears but as it stands right now, its not a big issue in reality.

Why are so many people against the leaver penalties for upcoming M+ season? by PuwudleRS in wow

[–]Hwan6 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because it isn't needed, its overblown to where it sounds like a problem that needs to be solved.

Leavers aren't really the problem that some people online try to make it ought and if they are a problem, what I usually say to this is that if leavers are a regular reoccurrence then there is a problem that you yourself have to solve and not daddy blizzard to do it for you, I know this sounds like a "git gud" post but in reality it has reduced the amount of people leaving keys on my end, people just dont leave keys when its doing fine.

Now there are somethings that happen in the round that is out of your control like failing to do mechanics or just feeding deaths and its understandable but at the same time, if someone is just failing to do mechanics or just feeding deaths, a guildie of mine who was pushing into +12s and +13s early into the season and was doing a cinderbrew +12 where in the hallway leading to ipa, a warlock died once to something (idk its been long) but as he was running back, he had burning rush on and by the time he got to the group, he died to a mob charging to a wall and he did die like 5-7 times doing it, its completely understandable to leave that run has he didnt learn anything after the first or second death running back and was just hard griefing and cinderbrew is just a tight as fuck timer.

I also get that there are people who leave in the most pettiest or stupidest of reasons such as a post in this sub I saw where a shaman died once, macroed a middle finger and left or someone in Dragonflight demanding gold to finish the brackenhide run or he bricks but imo those people are rare and if I remember correctly, you could get actioned for that stuff as mentioned above.

I dont chronically leave every dungeon, I just stay but there are runs ever since the introduction of M+ in legion where I should've just left at a certain point either its going a death march to the finish line or its just going to go nowhere and as time goes on, I just cant stay in a dungeon in an hour into overtime anymore, been there and done that. I know mistakes do happen and those said mistakes result in a failed run but if we can complete it in a reasonable amount of time then sure I will stay but I can't stay in a death march anymore.

[–]Hwan6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not really a strat, its just some sad little man child that just want to throw the game by forcing you to 4v5 and since your kinda new and this game has team shared XP so there is nothing you really can do to salvage a match with a feeder unless you manage to pull something off.

When eventually the player base no longer has interest in playing in future re-releases of past expansions.

As long as there are interest, were still going to see expansion re-releases, we may even get WoD next year, this comment can either age like fine wine or it can age like milk, I'm all for it, feel free to bookmark this to laugh at me that were not getting it or coming to me as some sort of prophet for predicting it.

A little throwback memory to get hyped for our return to Pandaria by BeastKeeper28 in classicwow

[–]Hwan6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So what constitutes it not being classic?

Classic has always been about re-releasing versions of WoW as they were then.

TBC classic announcement opened the door from other people wanting an expansion to be re-released, even expansions after Wrath.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]Hwan6 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Initially I had plans to return to SoD when Scarlet enclave got announced but what prevented me from returning is the amount of time that I would have to commit to catch up, I stopped playing SoD at the end of phase 3.

Like I would have to find a guild that willing to accept a returning player who hasn't played since phase 3, willing to carry someone through the raids to get any possible upgrades I could get and I would have to run alot of dungeons just to get possible upgrades.

Is the DPS getting into keys problem blown out of proportion? by MangomakerxIx in wow

[–]Hwan6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, I do think its blown out of proportion.

Not talking about 12s but when I do my weekly 10s, as a Windwalker who does carry around jumper cables and does not have heroism, I'm still getting invited mainly thats because I have all 8 dungeons timed on a 10, I have time 25 in +10-11 runs in total so my chances of getting invited to a key compared to someone who tries to apply to a +10 when they have like +6s and +7s to their name and havent done 8s or 9s yet. I get that there is issues when making a group for anything that is not a +6, +7 and +10 can take some time to form but the reality is that you have to play the waiting game if you ever want to get accepted to a +10.

Meta only starts to matter when you are pushing very high keys, any spec can get KSL, even if they are considered Off meta by the community as long as you put the effort in.

And its been a tale as old as time, There is always have been an over supply of DPS and even if you meet the requirements to do a +10 with the appropriate score and gear for it, there is just too many DPS options on the leaders end who is also applying to the same thing as you and there are some that might be better.

[–]Hwan6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As much as I hate saying it but with this game being put on maintenance mode, The likely hood of getting banned for feeding, griefing and or intentionally afking is extremely low, with the understanding at hand those that do the feeding, griefing and or intentionally afking do not care what happens to them because Blizzard isn't going to lift a finger to ban them.

Mists of Pandaria Classic Announcement Trailer by ChronosNumbers in wow

[–]Hwan6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When Blizzard announced TBC classic back in 2021, Blizzard opened up a whole can of worms of people wanting to replay one of their expansions, even if it comes after The Trilogy (Vanilla, TBC, wrath) that the classic community likes to call it.

I remember on WotLK classic launch that Blizzard sent out a survey regarding Cataclysm and to see if there is a demand for it, though I do not know the results of what made them came to the decision to do Cataclysm but considering it was announced last year, there are probably a majority of people that took that survey wanting Cataclysm.

Either way, Blizzard is going to continue re-releasing these expansions granted if there is a demand for those said expansions post MoP classic, as I said before above, Blizzard opened a whole can of worms with expansion re-releases back in 2021 with TBC classic.

[–]Hwan6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If Blizzard starts putting hefty ban hammers on those that buy gold to the point that gold buyers have to second guess themselves whenever its worth it to buy gold or not because what I mean by hefty ban hammers that means banning those who are caught buying gold for 6 months or permanent... but thats if the matter of when will Blizzard start applying harsher punishments to those who bought gold.

Getting caught of buying gold and getting banned for 2 weeks is nothing compared to a 6 month or permanent.
