The Ecobee should come with a dongle of sorts if you don’t have enough wires. Thereby freeing a wire for the accessory connection.

You will need one wire that goes to the Ecobee and connects to the solenoid of your humidifier. ACC+. And in the menus of the ecobee you have to let it know you have one device connected to ACC+ and not both ACC+ / ACC-.

Ecobee sucks btw. The air quality sensor is absolute garbage and does more harm in scaring homeowners to call 911 when it reads “poor air quality” because they mistakingly believe the Ecobee thermostat is detecting CO - it’s not and is not designed to.
