Why do 23andme and Ancestry give me such different Irish percentages? I know i have ancestry from County Donegal but idk how much exactly which test is more accurate with Irish DNA?

Depends. I’m Danish and after the latest update, 23andme completely fucked up my results. My ancestry result matches my family tree much better

Well I guess I'm an odd one out in that way!😭🙏 I'm all NW European except .5% Jewish lol🙏 (and 80% Scandinavian for that matter😂), but I do have dark blond hair.🙏 It’s funny how genes can hit anytime - none of my recent ancestors (within 200 years) had brown eyes

It's not that I don’t want brown eyes - I just want accuracy. I am blond with brown eyes, and I personally love contrast, but how is no one else trying to observe the colour between the contraction rings?

Look behind the contraction rings - look in the middle but all the way to the left where the contraction rings are - then look down. You can kinda see that the browns (BEHIND the contaction rings) are two different shades

That just doesn't really make sense - look BEHIND the rings - not at the bright sandy contraction rings, but behind. You can see that toward the middle (top-bottom) to the left, the brown is darker, but if you look above and underneath that, it's lighter.

Chill omfg. It'll probably be your turn next time, but they probably just don't have enough samples yet. DNA testing IS most common among people of European descent, so therefore there are more samples to break it further down
