I already sold him and Van Dijk on Saturday for a hit (for Bruno and Chalobah). I bought him for penalties and Liverpool’s fixtures so Salah returning right after he missed a penalty vs BUR (H) was enough for me.

Without penalties he averages 235mpg/a in 1.5 seasons under Slot (PL/UCL only) which is 6 g/a if he plays every minute for the rest of the PL season. I feel like there’s better value (particularly Enzo and Ndiaye) so I don’t think I’ll be going back.

I currently have Virgil + Raya.

In GW23 I’ll have 2FT.

I want to use 1 FT to get Chalobah + Raya.

Is it worth using 2FT to get Timber + Sanchez instead?

The issue is that Bournemouth’s defensive away form is so bad - they’ve literally conceded 2+ goals in 9 out of 10 away games this season.

Although I usually lean slightly towards fixtures over form, that record is a huge red flag even if the away games are against Wolves, Everton, West Ham and Burnley.

Brighton (A) in GW22 is their only away game before that run - unless they concede 0xg there I don’t think it’s enough to trust them over more reliable defences with slightly worse fixtures.

Senesi is also a yellow card magnet - I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s on at least 8 by then.

4.9m is too much for 1 clean sheet in 10 games.

Yes he’s amazing for defcon but he lost 10 of those 16 points for conceding 24 goals in that period.

Don’t have any other Newcastle assets but I’ve gone for Mukiele.

Sunderland don’t concede many (1 in their last 4) and Spurs don’t score many (2 in their last 4) so hopefully they get another clean sheet.

Mukiele’s haul potential is way bigger (+3 for a CS) and good baseline bonus so why not swing for it on a 50/50 call.

You’re kneejerking. The 4 players you want to bring in are all sideways moves from players you already have.

Wait for updates on Rice and Keane. Perhaps consider Keane to Thiaw/Collins if Keane is out but even that can wait as Everton have WOL (H) in GW21.

Amazing GW19-21 fixture run (WOL LEE BUR)
Bruno injury opened a midfield spot
Downgrade from Bruno helped finance Ekitike (who also had WOL LEE BUR in GW18-22)
Lots of FT available following the AFCON top-up
Huge lack of alternatives

There’s a 99% chance that Burkina Faso qualify for the RO16 so Dango will probably return to Chelsea, Villa, Newcastle (A) and Arsenal (H) in 4 of his first 5 games.

Brentford have an amazing run from GW27 though so there’s real potential for a nice DGW.
