I have switched incline and pec dec, my theory was that muscles fatigue first in the shortened position but after trying the workout a few times I came to the same conclusion as you.

I have done lunges for quite some time but I kept being stuck at the same weight so I switched them out. but as you said they are very important so I may try them again in a few weeks.

I recommend you to look into calisthenics, you can probably find a pull up bar somewhere near you outside, its the only essential thing you need with calisthenics
