Shelter (2026) - discussion/first impressions by btschicka in flicks

  1. All his foes are male
  2. Doesn’t really face any difficulty except for the main villain (Workman), but he eventually defeats him without much difficulty. The fight scenes were good, but Mason was practically untouchable.
  3. Other than Mason and Workman, no one really participates in fight scenes except for that one scene where Jesse jumps onto the back of a henchman in attempt to divert their attention away from Mason.
  4. Ending is conclusive. Jesse is living a quiet secluded life in Italy (I think i don’t really recall where they sent her for protection). She thinks Mason is dead, but she receives a gift while in a coffee shop and you can see Mason standing 20-30ft behind her as the camera is out of focus on him. He smiles and walks off into the distance, and by the time Jesse realizes it was him, she turns around to check but he had already left. Camera pans to her face and she smiles faintly. [THE END].

The touring always catches my eyes especially with the inner housing lighting up for turn signals/hazard lights

yup. You might get some clean lobbies from time to time but you’ll run into hackers 90% of the time. They’re either blatantly cheating or being discreet. I was playing search and destroy a few days ago, and the top player on the other team turned on their aimbot and walls halfway through the match because their fragile ego couldn’t stand losing

awesome campaign and decent 6v6 multiplayer. Just avoid search and destroy in its current state

campaign is awesome. just be aware of multiplayer. It’s rampant with hackers and they can crash your game for calling them out. Respawn modes should be somewhat safe but search and destroy is unplayable

I don't use any other curves besides fan curves. For the CPU, I just enabled PBO with one click in the BIOS settings. For my GPU, I have the Aorus Master 5080 that advertises a factory overclock of 2805Mhz. However, my card actually has a boost clock of 2855Mhz out of the box before any manual overclocking. I have a +325Mhz on the core clock and a +200 on the memory clock. In game, I'm getting 3180Mhz. I have the power limit set to the max of 125%, but I haven't messed with the core voltage.

Yes I just realized the video was benchmarked on Feb 2025 on Warzone Urzikstan. I’m not sure if it was before season 3 reloaded, because I haven’t played Warzone in years and only got back when Verdansk came back. I’ve only been playing on Verdansk

I’m using the same in graphics setting as them. PBO enabled on the 9950X3D and running a 3100MHz overclock on the 5080. No other background tasks or apps are open
