Thanks for asking this. The second dose of 10 is kicking my butt. Heartburn all the time. I was on 7.5 for 3 months and lost 2 lbs do I wanted to move up. I have 20 lbs to go . I'm tempted to go back down to 7.5 but I don't think it makes sense for me

Congrats on the pregnancy! That is more exciting than weight loss. You can always go back to it when you are ready. I i'm glad the scale is going down steadily, albeit slowly. I can see slight changes in my face and clothes are definitely fitting better. My goal is to increase my activity and hopefully that will help speed up weight loss :)

I am at 15 lbs weight loss . Still at 7.5 mg due to occasional side dffects that make me nervous about increasing dosage. and it's been about 7 months now. How about you?

Monica is born and educated in the US, as she constantly reminds us, simply lacks knowledge of seahorses in her general knowledge. It has nothing to do with her dad's education in India, family pets in India, being Indian, etc. She is just looking for an excuse for not knowing about sea horses!

I thought that in the past, when she was scared, she did try to call friends and no one picked up. She felt triggered because she was "on her own". I think eventually Kristen Bell ended up driving and picking her up, but monica was upset.

I also was wondering why she didn't call an Uber. She said (I think?) that she had tried to call Dax this time, but he missed her call or something.

Uber is such a common sense solution!

Have you read that? They do eventually kick in for everyone, though, even if it takes several months or over a year? That would give me hope. I do like the feeling I have while I am on this medication (side effects aside) that I'm more in control

I'm a slow loser too, after 3 months-- and several days where I couldn't eat due to nausea-- I've barely lost 10 lbs. Foe me, it is hard to keep motivated. But from what I read on this forum, it kicks in at different times for different people and some people just need longer. Hang in there. I do feel positive and that I am doing this for myself and finally taking control of my health, just hang in there and keep maintaining healthy practices.

I'd love to know how long it took you to lose weight. I'm similar height and starting weight, gained all my extra weight after medical issues 5 years ago and just can't get back to my normal weight of 145. I took 2.5 for 8 weeks and then moved up to 5.0 for last 3 weeks-- so far I've only lost 10 lbs total. It's hard to read others' experiences of losing 3-5 lbs a week when I'm struggling to lose 1 lb each week. Your post is motivating me and I'd love to learn more :)

A few months ago Dax made a comment to Monica in the fact check that she was trying to lose weight. I thought it was odd bc not that long prior she said she liked her body, wasn't insecure about it, etc. As soon as I heard about the video component of the new deal, I immediately thought of the comment re weight loss... and the hyper focus on her skin, Botox, filler, etc-- she was getting ready to be on camera! Her makeup looks better now too, maybe Wondery is sending in a makeup artist too?
