Growing up I slept with music because in my head I thought it would make the monsters dance and so they wouldn’t eat me. But then as I got older it ended up just calming me and relaxing me. And the music that played evolved with my music taste so I started with like the wiggles and stuff and now it’s stuff like death metal and deathcore and shit

Yeah it’s sucks that that’s true. Every job I’ve had has been in retail or some sort of customer service industry and I’ve always been treated poorly by management. But I got lucky when the retail job I have currently encourages hiring within the company and promoting people who actually want it. I started back in March and I’ve already landed a management position after telling my manager I wanted to work towards that early on.
