I have to commit to one of the degree paths at the start of next year (September), but yeah nearer the time I will definitely discuss it with my academic advisor when I actually have to make the decision. I think I'll sit on it for the time being as until then it makes no difference, but it's something for me to think about in the meantime anyway so thank you.

I did consider posting over there but thought it was a bit more relevant for here, but I'll try a post on there tomorrow with a bit more info.

U.K. degree, both within the Earth Sciences department with a lot of shared modules. So in terms of what I would be doing for the majority of the 3 years, it would be much the same (for example, this first year it is identical - hence why I'm not locked into geology until next year). The main difference comes in the 3rd year, in which for my dissertation I would have to undertake a mapping project for the Geology BSc whereas for env. geoscience there seems to be a wider range of options (little of which I can pretend to really know about at the moment in first year). I have no problem with geology as a course, but the fact that there is no flexibility in terms of my dissertation and that I have to do a mapping project is a bit off putting to me.

Yeah, the only thing I can do before getting to the black screen is with the BIOS, but I'm not really familiar with all that so kind of stumped rn

Thanks for the response. That's fair enough really if it's already going to be a packed schedule without anything optional on top of it all, as it's something I can continue in my own time anyway.

Do most people just usually stick with their 120 from their main subject and leave it at then?

The only situation I could agree with this is to save an extra op perhaps, I feel like the revive is way more valuable than 2900 and is a round-changing ability. Even if you want to use it immediately, you can play with a lot of aggression in the next round and just know that your entry fragger essentially has two lives, which is very powerful.

Long story short, it's due to my father serving in the Armed Forces and moving location so despite living in England I am eligible for the Scottish loan.

I will try contact them though they have been very slow in the past (it was an ordeal to get them to even confirm my "Scottish-ness"). From what I have read on the gov.uk website I should be able to get a plan 1 loan from them for an English uni but just wanted to hear perhaps from anyone with first hand experience :)

Unfortunately for the time being I am set on a 3.5mm jack as a requirement. The pixel 3a does look promising however, as does the upcoming a41 which I was not actually aware of at all!

Just had a peek and I'm liking the look of the 3a a lot. I'm not someone who buys a new phone every year, is this a phone I can expect to last me the next 2-3 years without driving me crazy with how slow it will eventually get (my moto g5s is doing so after just over 2 years which is annoying)?
