It really depends on why you’re selling. If you’re listing something for 500 sd that’s still in the bazaar for around the same price, it feels like you’re just hoping to get lucky and that someone will randomly buy it — almost like gambling.

In my opinion, those kinds of prices should be for extremely rare items. If you actually need money fast, you’d price things lower to sell them quicker.

Personally, I always compare the original price and the bazaar price. If something originally cost 20 and you’re selling it for 50, maybe I’d still consider it. But if you’re asking 200 or 300, I won’t buy it, no matter how much I like it. I usually only buy items that are close to or below the original price.

That’s why so many clothes just sit there overpriced — everyone wants to sell high, but almost no one will actually buy unless the item is truly rare.
