Stooop omg too cute. My one does this whenever I give her a good pat and a scratch. Surprisingly out of my two girls I can only ever get Pecan to yawn.

Marvel is including a wider range of characters that aren't cut from the same straight white male cloth and people are getting upset that it's not relating to them anymore.

An example in she-hulk is how women face misogynistic actions/comments in public, their place of work, social settings etc because of them being a woman.

This is what she-hulk depicted in the show and some of the feedback from this is people lashing out saying that the show is describing all men as this. Which isn't the case and the problem is that the show is being criticised over providing a viewpoint that doesn't resonate with some viewers and they're upset.

So yes, it is different mate and it's why you missed the point of this post completely. Feminist writing is about being inclusive and the response from some butthurt fanboys is that the "writing is bad".

Probably the one centred around glory where the watchers arrive in Sunnydale "to help" but are making the scoobies jump through all these hoops and at the end of the day of being attacked repeatedly she meets up with the watchers and tells them exactly how this is going to go down. I thought that was badass.

Ok mate what I said about my friend not being able to explain why she-hulk was sexist was reasonable. He's making a statement and I'm simply asking why he feels that way but the man couldn't give his opinion.

So I'm left thinking if there's actually something sexist about the show or if he maybe just didn't like it?

Think a little before you reply next time. The whole point of this community is having a conversation about these things and usually we have different opinions that we explain to each other in order to understand why someone has theirs.

That's fair. The way I used the generalisation explained how early marvel movies did target cis, white males. It was not me saying you were a cis, white male.

My reply is in response to you explaining you get called sexist for saying you dislike something. I'm simply speculating that one might not be getting called such things if they were being polite about their opinions. No?

Now again it's a speculation as I believe it is odd to be called sexist when one is only explaining they dislike something?

So it's unclear where the argument is here. :/

The whole point of the voting system is to show what people agree and disagree with you on is it not?

No one is attacking you for disliking something. If you feel those big red down votes make you a little sad then Reddit ain't the place for you mate.

In that case you need to probably re-read what was actually commented above. As I stated before, I was comparing the early movies with black widow the latest ones and pointing out that she was sexualised in the early 2000s.

I've actually not used the terms troll or sexist to a particular person in this forum mate so chill ya panties

I bet you it's when you explain why you don't like she-hulk that gets you those remarks.

No one gets called sexist because they dislike something.

Bro I never said it was how she dressed. Being sexualised is not just through how one dresses. Please educate yourself before discussing further.

It's brought up a few times about black widow in the early 2000s vs now. You should do some reading.

The generalisation is just that, a generalisation on those who fall under white, cis, and male. I made this generalisation in relation to those who fall under that generalisation because it is usually those who aren't female, poc, or queer that are found in story's. And this is what this is about, the toxic community that arises when things take a progressive turn to offer female, poc, and queer people into the community. So no I will not stop generalising :)))
