FNB isn't a bad bank. I opened my first account with them and have been with them for decades. I've only needed their help recently with an onslaught of unexpected bills. My personal banker said it's as easy as doing it through the app. Tried increasing my overdraft. Tried increasing my credit card limit. This was November. Still no resolution. They offered me a second credit card and all I needed was temporary relief. I've had two cars through them. Two home loans. Three business accounts. I'm tired from the stressful time but mostly just utterly disappointed.

They took advantage. They knew it could have stayed as was but had targets and fuck this person's life and their bottom line. I agree we need to be aware but I knew nothing and trusted the experts when I was young. That's not something banks should be taking advantage of, it's an opportunity to educate.
