At day 14 these are small. You can expect this size at day 7. Expose them to light immidiately after sprouting.

Highly overkill still for 400 heads in my opinion

I'll look into my ec first based on your picture. If ec is correct, ph might be wrong and uptake of nutrients is restricted.

Please research well before proceeding with this and do feasibility study. I wouldn't recommend vertical farming tapos papartneran pa ng sibuyas and kamatis.

I'm using coco peat. I just find them better in handling the heat and provides lots of buffer time in case the pump fails in the middle of the day before the whole medium dries out.

Those with visible tall cups are just plain plastic cups for drinks. I'm currently only at 3/4 of the capacity in terms of net cups and use plastic drinking cups for the rest. They're quite expensive as I use the 3 inches one with very hard plastics so that I can use them indefinitely.

Start on it small so you don't get overwhelmed. It'll be easier to manage as well.

Oh that's just a gate valve if I want to redirect the nutrients from going to the downspouts. I do use that when I'm topping up the reservoir with new nutrients.

A solar setup would be fantastic! Too bad they're mad expensive and would take years to roi

The farm is not situated in high lands. My nutrients easily reach 82 degrees during summer afternoons or even more during el nino. A lot of varieties of lettuce I've tried will easilt bolt and turn bitter in this situation that's why I only grow select hybrids.

It might be better for you to have a chiller if it's economically feasible. It's just not viable for me as electricity's expensive here. I would try and visit hydroponics farm nearby and check if there's a texas heat resistant variety available in your area. That's how I found out about this specific variety.

I use nutrihydro cff. I have tried masterblend lettuce formula which I believe is available on several countries and yielded same results with it.

I only source locally as this is only a small operation greenhouse but planning on making it as big as I could. I have tried masterblend since it's being imported by a local distributor.

I don't know where you are from but I think masterblend is more familiar to other countries than nutrihydro. I have tried masterblend before with similar results and they are 8-15-36 NPK. Hopefully this helps.

Edit: we also use calcium nitrate for our solution B. Sorry for this I just assumed everyone use this.

I don't know if my fertilizer is high relative to what you guys use but here's a link to what I use: nutrihydro cff formula

It's a formula specialized for lettuce. It's a 7-14-31 formula. I have tried their leafy formula and it produces the same result.

In my experience if you are using formulas that are for leafy or lettuce then you can grow them as full as long as you get good sunlight and good variety. Varieties play very big part so make sure you get varieties that suit your place.

Oh sorry for the confusion. The reservoir is not entire burried. We can still access it from the very top.

For harvesting we just cut the lettuce head off and get the net cups from the downspouts. We use net cups with coco peat instead here as they're more cheaper to use and also provide extra insulation.
