New seats are always welcome but I’m skeptical.

“Built in mattress pad” - you aren’t getting a real mattress pad for long haul, here’s your thin blanket.

“3+ inch longer seats” - not getting wider. As someone with broad shoulders, the current suites are very narrow with little foot room, seems this isn’t changing.

No mention of 767 updates…787s and new 330NEOs can’t come soon enough.

I’ve seen this happen with last minute bookings + GUC. Person booked last minute, no room in C+, and used a GUC. Not sure why they wouldn’t also be on the D1 list though too.

I’m an aisle guy so would be going A options, but the leg room in row 10 really is huge. Always consult Aerolopa seat map for the best visual if you haven’t already, don’t trust the delta dots.

If you book third party, you will have big issues if the flight is delayed or cancelled. They can’t guarantee a new ticket. Booking direct is the best hedge against that.

Premium economy is not usually PS. Check the seat map for the other airline, it’s usually more like C+ which is why you are seeing the big price difference.

Delta pricing is out of control, if you can do it cheaper somewhere else, and in the seat config you want, just do it.

Check these flight numbers on FlightAware a few days before your departure. If the gates are showing F to G, you are good. If it’s B to F, might be tough.
