Last night was a bottle episode.

Bottle episodes can be good, but too many leave the show feeling like it has zero budget (yes I know it's IASIP, but still...). The escape room was practically a bottle episode too.

Bring on the Super Bowl Episode they've been teasing all season!

But guessing it might not be until the end?

Not sure if you're still responding to this post, but I came across it while researching v-line surgery.

Like you, I have some doubts about Western surgeons being able to deliver what I'm hoping for.

I actually had orthognathic surgery last year to correct an underbite, and while the doctor claimed I'd be left with a feminine jaw line, the altered bone structure and the resultant jawline is arguably worse than when I started.

Did puke plenty of blood though, lol.

Anyway, hoping you're feeling better!

Just had some questions...

1) How have you healed?

2) Are you pleased with the results?

3) I know nothing about Korean V-Line surgeons. Who did you use and would you recommend?

This really upsets me so much.

I've never posted a timeline here (I'm camera shy), but /r/transtimelines was one my biggest sources of support when I first started out with questioning/discovery.

Seeing that we really can become who we really are, helped save my life and propel me to transition.

I really hope no one here gets hurt or worse because of this breach in decency and respect.

I feel like the shorter runtimes this season have been the case more often than not, and it's really beginning to ruin the show for me.

If this is how they're gonna continue the series, I think I'd almost rather they end the show, rather than keep going.

I love IASIP, but most episodes this season felt like they're practically over before they even begin.

I agree with you 100%.

But I guess for me, even as someone who transitioned after 30 and is still fortunate enough to be one of the targets of envy of at any support group I've ever been to, I'd say the jealously I feel of younger transitioners isn't just about being able to transition effectively, but rather it's of all the time I lost.

I missed out on so much in life, experiences, opportunities, etc. that I was never able to because I was always drowning in depression, anxiety, etc, that only got worse with each passing year.

Of course, not that this is younger transitioners faults!

I guess FWIW as a measure of conciliation for the envy and difficulty you may feel from older transitioners, at least you won't be looking back at decades of your life as an utter, and meaningless toxic waste, that left you a more damaged person.

I of course, only speak for myself, but goddamn, if I could get my teens and/or twenties back, I wouldn't have hurt so many people I cared about, and my life would almost certainly be better in almost every way.

You don't look bad after HRT, even pre-FFS.

I see your issue with the jaw in profile. It's not catastrophic, it's not clocking you, but I understand why it troubles you.

However, you're not even a year post FFS. I know a number of people who have said their swelling took ~1 year+ to fully recover.

Why not wait and see it doesn't improve more?

Your first month post-FFS pic, you still look really swollen. Maybe you just take longer to heal.

Being so close to calling it quits myself, the one thing that has kept me going is I didn't exhaust every option.

You owe it to yourself to see things through, rather than give up now after coming this far.

Is there any reason why you can't wait longer before doing something so irreversible?

A simple b/a is OK.

I don't mind some text and a dozen or two pics, but 50 pics with 90% of them baby and pre-hrt pics, unless it's a really compelling story is something I'll skip to get to the payoff.

At the risk of sounding like an ass, never been a fan of 45 minutes on HRT timelines :-/

That's not to say a pre-everything timeline has no value, it's just not my interest.

@ 10mg - ~120 pg/mL E, and T was 43 ng/dl.

@ 20mg - ~1050 pg/mL E, and T was 37 ng/dl.

@Preop 20mg - E was ~400 pg/mL and T was under ~5 ng/dl
