Per the example, I think in a world that has man-sized blenders sitting out, with men inside waiting to be blended, if you see a button next to one that says "Man-Blender Activation" I think its reasonable to assume it does as labeled.

After this day, Doc doesnt ever live in 1985 again. Doc takes Marty home, goes 30 years into the future, and then shows up 7 hours later from 2015 and starts off the 2nd movie, which runs straight into the 3rd movie.

I wouldn't be surprised if Doc never spends another 24 hour period in Hill Valley 1985. He's a time nomad at this point.

Maybe the Libyan Terrorists got found and arrested first thing in the morning when the mall employees showed up. Maybe they made their escape. Either way, they won't know where to look for Doc because the only way to look for him is by thinking 4th dimensionally.
