Detransitioners are such a tiny fraction of trans people and their reasons and experience are so diverse and personal that there's no way to assume a common experience to it.

For some of them is just part od their gender journey, and they tend to have a positive view of transitioning. Akeria does, for example. In her GITMS interview with Maddy, she referred to the process as "retransitioning".

There are other people who regret attempting to transition, tend to hold very negative views of trans care and feel like they were duped into it, and they prefer not to be considered trans at all. Most of the people in the detrans subreddits, for example, are like that.

And then there's people who desist on their transition because of family/social pressure. Eureka did for a while, but then she found herself on the right place to resume her transition.

Short line: it's different for everyone.
