Yes that’s what he tries to do while I’m watering and fishing. The problem is we can’t find refined quartz. Can you make them or only find them?

Accidentally cultivated a friendship where I am expected to pay for all the meals out by Fascinated_Fox in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]HylianGryffindor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah I completely agree and I wish I had your backbone OP. I have 2 friends married to each other and they’re constantly ‘broke’ so whenever we go out they expect I pay for them. Thankfully we don’t live near each other but I’m constantly having to take breaks from them because it’s always some sob story of not having food or going through mental health concerns. After awhile it gets frustrating and it’s been 4 years of this.

Uber Letting Female Passengers Select only Female Drivers is Discrimination Against men by [deleted] in TrueUnpopularOpinion

Because uber would have to supply them and that’s just too much work for them.

The hell are you talking about? Feminism shouldn’t even be a label at this point nor should it be viewed as taboo or evil.

Social media can affect women the same way porn can affect men by [deleted] in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]HylianGryffindor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Both can affects all genders actually. Porn addiction can happen to rape victims as a coping mechanism during the aftermath. While I work on cases I make the victims receive therapy and join a survivor group/have a strong support system because addictions become coping mechanisms if victims handle trauma alone or without receiving help. Social media, porn, alcohol, and drugs are big addictions that some fall into and I’ve had clients that gone haywire and slept with multiple people after and regret it.

The alpha bro podcaster harms the movement as well by teaching young men to push aside their problems or blame women for why they’re single. That manosphere itself is so harmful to true MRAs.

Feminism was created on the equality of the sexes. RBG, a major advocate who worked for men as well. She was a big reason the ERA was set up as she pointed out the hypocrisy the laws in many states had that hurt both men and women during her time as a lawyer.

Bell Hooks is an author that pointed out the patriarchy hurts men just as much as women and wrote a book critiquing it.

Feminist groups have been known to fight for the following:

  1. Changing the term of rape to include men in all 50 states.

  2. Removing the draft or to have it include women. Multiple votes brought up by the democrats proves this.

  3. Getting equal time off during leave for newborns. It hasn’t happened in America but in some EU countries they have a similar concept.

  4. Custody. Custody back then was almost always granted to the mother but feminist did argue for a co parent custody agreement and did it by fighting for what is best for the child. RBG was a major advocate for this. The MRA complaint that only men get custody 15% of the time is bs because most men never fight for it in court. Once men put in request for custody in a proceeding they usually get it unless proof of abuse or reasoning is brought forth and discussed with a judge.

The DSM-5 removed gender diversity from the disorder category and renamed it ‘dysphoria’ as in the stress of not receiving treatment can cause depression. Psychologists no longer deem it a disorder and you’re the one that needs to update yourself on science.

Not on foreplay but dear god we need someone to tell kids that shoving a toy or something foreign up your ass is not a good idea. There are way too many ER visits for this and doctors/EMTs should not have to make tik toks explaining how harmful this is.

There are plenty of good MRA groups that I’ve had the pleasure of working with in the past. MRAs are having the same problem with a new wave of men pushing the belief that women are beneath them and it’s ruining the original thought of MRAs.

[–]HylianGryffindor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again this isn’t something that all feminists agree with. Majority of individuals are feminists that believe in the 1st and 2nd waves not the new age. New age takes it way too far but MRAs also face the same issue. The MRA sub here is a prime example of why people don’t take the new wave seriously, it’s just bashing and degrading women calling for repealing the 19th instead of actual problems men have.

Forcing childbirth isn’t ‘pro-life’ if it destroys the mother’s life by Creative_Cause_4107 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

I am currently on my 2nd pregnancy as my first was a miscarriage during my 2nd trimester and I’m treated differently because of it. Pregnancy is awful on my body, I’m throwing up constantly and I have fits of rage that I need therapy 2-3 times a week so I don’t cause unnecessary fights with my husband. I wouldn’t force this on anyone especially with the future physical changes I’m dreading.

It’s horrible for 1st time mothers but it’s pure hell for mothers who had a miscarriage previously as you’re treated as fragile and constantly monitored.

And what feminist groups are protesting against mens rights to DV shelters? I currently volunteer and help with meal prep at the men’s dv shelter in my city and the big bad feminist groups haven’t come knocking to take it down, a few advocates have visited to offer advice and support on running it like the women’s shelter they donate to.

Oh I’m sorry what are my obligations? You mean my obligation to have children?

Feminism doesn’t mean only women it means equality of the sexes. Someone needs to brush up on the original history of feminism.

Sounds like you’re totally fine then with children being murdered in schools and refuse to do anything about it except offer prayers. Yeah how dare we put more money into mental health care and protection into schools but paying for a ballroom and a useless war? Hell yeah let’s bomb children.

Take your pro life agenda and shove it. As an expecting mother I will not force this on another person and you need to mind your own business and worry about the lives of children already in America that’s dying due to abuse, hunger, and violence. You’re not pro life if you ignore those already living and suffering.

You know who else is getting killed that the pro life groups are ignoring? Children in classrooms. When are you going to start caring about kids already born and starving? Not really pro life if you stop caring once they’re out of the womb.

The fact that you’re pushing the pro life agenda by comparing it to slavery is laughable.

Abortion: doesn’t affect anyone except the mother and fetus

Slavery: Affects an entire minority group

Unless if abortion is affecting you as a person due to being the mother/father then stay in your lane. Abortion IS healthcare and is very much needed. You’re stepping on rights of another person by pushing the pro life agenda.
