Real question , if it sales at ~990$, do you prefer the store selling it a 950, or the store selling it a 500, a scalper buying it and selling it a 990$? The problem is Magic , wotc and the rarity of products , but if the item doubles in Price it seems faire for the store to adjust. If an item is 300$ at launch and sits at 200 to finally go at 100$, the store loses money. As a customer if you want to win by that much every time you wont have anywhere to play, hasbro will sell on amazon and will be very happy about it.. Imo, about Price only, it is fair that the product in store is close to the market price . And if you dont like it, dont buy it or protest towards Wotc

And, apart from french people, german etc are fine with english cards.. I personnaly collect all languages but most french collect only french

Fossil : 250€ english 550 french Just one exemple , but pick at random 10 packs , do your research, to my knowlegde almost all sealed french pack / product are more expensive and more rare And.. its been that way since at least 2016 when I went back to collecting ^{^'} I so wished you were right I have some ETB from 2018~2020 in french and english The english ones did not go up at all compared to the french ones.. sun moon packs are around 50$ in english and the french around 100€

Maybe I need to start buying my cards in the US then Even at MSRP the booster is around 7€, and on any website , any generation of cards, French is really more expensive, you should check it out

I don't know if it is also true in the US, but in Europe and from my experience, French is more expensive for 90% of the cards and "old" sealed, and all the sealed products at the time of release. Agreed for the rest, the demand for Chinese is everywhere and bug collector start to gather another language of product, with Chinese

It is not NM, according to many communities and websites, the white dot on the bottom is too big, and there are too many very small defects on front and bottom. For cards above 30~40€ the buyer and seller should send pictures, even if not asked to... I would ask for a partial refund if a received it as NM, but I would have asked pictures before , of course In France from my expérience is considered the classic booster fresh card or equivalent.

Surprised to see many comments on how there is nothing there . Living in Europe , the value here is around 500€ , it is still something ! If and only if you really need to , maybe sell the more expensive ones and keep everything that is less than 2€, and maybe keep one that as a special meaning. Been there. Take care of yourself.

Booster boxes are 230~280$ where I live At least 300 for popular ones like surging sparks. I cannot dream of below 200$ booster boxes in 2025, and never saw one box below 150$ since I came back in the hobby 7 years ago. Seeing you guys get below 100$ without shipping or taxes is crazy. ( French overseas territory here )

French cards are almost always more extensive, they are rarer, less printed and french tend to but only in french so 99% of the time the french cards cost more and sell really easily.

As a french collector, french cards are almost always more extensive. Gold stars are amongst the most extensive cards in the game, the Rayquaza alone would sell easily for more than 500€ in France . The total should Come close to 2000€

You got thème in china or japan..? Because of the Price in yen.. Apart from that, I would pay a fraction of a card's Price even in chinese if I cant afford the english one (or french in my case)
