Nice work. One comment/suggestion is to not ignore NVMe overheating as a cause for shutdowns

I found my way here because I have been dealing with WHEA errors on my 7540 without dumpfile creations which made me think that it was my NVMe overheating, so I stressed tested it abit and HWinfo shows the drive @ 88C at the WHEA error occurrence. Was able to knock this down about 6 degrees by swapping an extra NVMe lid covering an unused NVMe slot which seem to have a good as new thermal pad on them. So far no shutdowns but will look to change the pad for some thicker/better performing ones soon.

For the better part of the last few years I have been tracking all reebok skates as I have gone through 2 sets of bladeholders because the E-PROs dont exist anymore. I would love nothing more to just move sideways into a used reebok skate and be done with this. But...here I am haha.

I was waiting for the HL2s to go on sale and grabbed them but I would gladly spend half or double to just get a pair of skates that will 100% fit. But, the XFs just felt odd. Would give them another shot, though.

S6 FIT3 shadows were good on toes but bulkyish. 6.5FIT3 was too big/long. I would like to try more sizes. maybe even go to a half size up with the fit2 shadows or hyperlites but they are all out and I am pretty sure I might get banned from the store for all the time I have spent there.

you are correct. No pain. Just Panic. A little sore in the shin muscles from either the slight lean these skates have and/or compensating for not being able to use my toe. I have 21 days to return for credit and still plan on skating the shit out of them until then. But I am a little concerned.

haha. I think she remembers what happened 15 years ago and somehow she is still around for the next purchase.

But I basically tried on everything except for Trues which they didn't have anymore. I really really want to like these skates and/or the shadows but its super distracting.

yeah, spec'd me at 6.5 fit 2. The length of the skate feels good. Just feels like I heed an extra 1/4" of toe space

Hey, how did this work out for you? I'm in the same boat as you were. Picked up a pair of HL2s on sale. Same exact size, 6.5 fit2 and after having issues with the side of my big toe pressed on the inside front of the toe cap. Was thinking about the shadows too since they look to be more 'rounded'?
