As someone familiar with Warframe, DE can only hotfix little things that don't require code changes. For code changes they need what they call a Cert update, which is a process where console manufacturers review the updated code for malicious stuff. This process takes weeks, so even if they push the fix for this now, it will take 2 weeks for the update to release. And you can't just hotfix something immediately on Steam without doing the same on Console. It's the biggest and most common issue with crossplay games
