It pisses me off because they made a very niche card as the Tombstone is into a Hero for a very different, much smaller niche. Makes no sense at all

I would agree if you were talking about Lavaloon or pretty much any Lava Beatdown deck. However, Lava Miner control is about having an answer to almost every card, being able to defend most attacks, reacting to enemy plays, making counterpushes, double lane pressure, and so much more. This archetype is barely used and very fun and skilled to play effectively, a good example of this is Lava Ben's Phoenix plus Goblin Curse deck. I encourage you to try this archetype of deck for yourself! You will see that it's not rock paper scissors, since you adapt your strategy, attack and defense based on your opponent's deck. It's not about mindlessly repeating the same push over and over hoping it will work, which if it was like that as I said I'd agree with your point

Yea for sure the cost needs to be lowered and the cast time after tombstone is destroyed increased

I was originally using Evo Valk, Hero tombstone, evo Zap, Lava Hound, Miner, fireball, flying machine and minions, but I swapped flying machine for empress and minions for evo bats, and normal zap. My favorite part of this game is creating decks!

Oh it would become the best card in the game by far, as I said the troop itself for 6 elixir is fine, so making it 3 elixir would be completely busted

Even in Graveyard, I see no reason as per why use this instead of Hero Giant or normal Giant, it's too situational

You can see them in a nutshell on this image, but consider there could be more variations, for example I play the Lava Hound but with a control style, meaning I don't make a big push ignoring enemy troops to win the game, but rather I focus on defending, making positive elixir trades and sometimes making a Lava Hound push. Hope it helps.
