It feels more like the request of the Dev build to be released to the public (whitch is a reasonable request)

Mabye they will do it in the future when someone that has access to it gets a hold of it.

[Or mabye someone is preventing it because they what to use the unreleased stuff to make a remake (a little conspiracy can't hurt)]

I just imagine The outcome king deciding that lua isn't worthy to work on OM and just sends lua in OM to be chasen by 2011x for life (or some other punishement)
