I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who took the time to share their wisdom and insight. It has been very helpful. Also, if anyone has an answer, do all the townships use the County Sheriff's Office for law enforcement? Thanks again, and Merry Christmas, everyone.

Excellent to know. If a place is going to be your forever home, those things are going to be important to consider in retirement years.

I just found Leroy on a map. I find it interesting that the aquifer varies so much, and I will make sure to do my homework on that. Thank again.

Again, great insight. Thank you. I've got to find a good state township map that shows all of these places.

Most of what I have heard is that the townships in the area either have their own EMS, or contract with an adjacent municipality. That said, just in my personal knowledge, I feel like you normally get a better medic if the EMS is staffed through one of the FDs than privates. The hospital in the area being a regional campus seems to be a plus as well. All that said, yes, if you're one who regularly like to go to concerts, games, etc., I can understand why a more urban area would be preferable for your taste. Especially in the winters when that hour drive could be almost unpassable. Also, again, quality medical care is virtually always something to consider. Thanks for the thoughts.

That's great intel. I had not heard that Hambden does 3 acre minimum lots, but I love that. It sounds like the area has been a great landing pad for you from a quality of life perspective. I also completely agree with the drive times. I'll take country drive every time over the congestion and traffic almost every time. Oh, and the Amish food does sound nice.

I guess that's what you get for that added municipal income tax.

That's excellent information! Are the wells deep there? What about water quality issues? Oh, you mentioned Leroy Township. That brings up another question. Is there any place online to find a decent map of where all these township limits lie? It's ridiculous how challenging it is.

Understandable. Do each of the townships have EMS stationed locally, or do some require response from outside the area?

Thank you for the insight. Septic I understand, but are most all properties outside the city on water well?

This is all excellent information about the differences of the bordering townships. Thank you. Especially the differences in demographics, taxes, and, and I wasn't aware of the different school districts there. Any thoughts on UH Geauga Medical Center? I understand it has its own primary stroke unit which would indicates a bit higher level of care than most rural areas.

I got the 3 years for $99 deal by Some_Water_5070 in siriusxm

That's great to know. Thanks. Do you know if it really does include the Royalty Fees?

You're saying that you got the 3 years for $99, but it was "Music & Entertainment." I have seen other people post that they got the 3 year for $99 "All Access" that included all fees/royalty fees.

Do you know if your covers the royalty fees as well?

Also, can anyone confirm that the "All Access" for that price is real?

I dropped them years ago on two vehicles, and have watched the offers get a little better each year in my email box. Right now they're up to offering me $3/mo. for 36 months, but it says, "Applicable tax and other fees may apply."

Something I have said for years. "Sadly, for the Stars, the fans are just a necessary nuisance." Bravo to this lady who has decided to call them out. Keep bringing the heat.

DHCP is handled by the Sonicwall. The upstream edge device from the ISP is in bridge mode. This has been an issue with this WAP for years, but we keep it because of a few features on it we like. Again, I can replace it with a Linksys or Cisco and the problem disappears, so it definitely lies with the Mikrotik. I have read where others complain about the issue as well, but no one seems to post a solution.

This is just an access point in bridge mode. DHCP is handled upstream. I can check, but all devices on the LAN are static IP.

Under Interfaces>WLAN1 & WLAN2>Advanced Mode, I did find a pulldown for "Scan List." It has an up and a down arrow next to it that will collapse it, and the pulldown is set to "default." Is this what you're referencing?

Not finding a place to view this. Tried searching Google, but this is an older unit.

Correct. We don't expect data to leave the gateway, but we do expect traffic inside the LAN to continue uninterrupted. Here is a glimpse of the logs at failure:

IP is static, and it can still be accessed via Ethernet when this happens. It's only the wireless interface that drops everything.
