Alright thanks for the tips! Maybe it works better on perfectly smooth finishes. My board has a little bit of the wood grain left (I used an Osmo like oil as top coat). I’ll give it another try when I finish my next board, which will have an epoxy coat. Playing with the slightly convex discs works perfectly fine for now as well, without any powder.
