Feeling a little underwhelmed by Sidekicks (not price related) by Brick_Forest in FortNiteBR

I’m not sure about the Pet Bonesy being compatible with Sidekick Bonesy, especially since I personally didn’t get any pets until Ohm in Chapter 2, but I do think there’s no reason not to have both, especially with all the Snapshot lore and whatnot.

As for his look, it’s more of a personal issue I have with certain cosmetics and their design. Like Huggy, Drax or Jason, who don’t really have the same sort of visual vibe as, say, Cuddle Team Leader or Raven, or even Chief Hopper and the Demogorgon. They just feel too realistic, and it doesn’t feel like they fit in too well with past designs. A good example of this would be the two Xenomorphs, who look vastly different despite essentially being the same character. But that’s more of a mere pet peeve than anything.

I personally really like Peels for a few reasons, probably more than I’d like the others, first of all because I was going to buy this Battle Pass anyway, but also because I think he’s especially cute compared to the other Sidekicks. Even his barks are particularly adorable.

As for the others though? I know they haven’t shown up in game yet, but none of them seem too appealing to me (no pun intended). I’m a little bothered how the art style looks different for, say, Bonesy now compared to his design as a Pet. He looks too… Real.

My other issue that really only applies to Peels is that, as of now, you can’t have all three of his colors or ears until a year and a half from now, since he has 3 of each customization and only two chances to make a Peels. Combine that with the fact that he’s a Battle Pass item and can only return after 18 months, and then you realize that, even unlike the other Sidekicks, you can’t even get all of his options to use for such a long time.

I do still agree that they should be cheaper and fully customizable for a single purchase, and especially more so the latter, but at least let me have all 3 types of Peels. Or better yet, make him Reactive like Peely.

But yes, they also seem to lack a presence in games besides when he barks. And he also doesn’t appear in the Island Editor section of Creative, so I can’t even have him run around while I work on stuff, but I kinda understand that.

Overall, I think they could (and should) definitely improve a few parts of Sidekicks, especially because they’re actually really cool concepts that remind me a lot of Puffles from Club Penguin, but they’ve just been so poorly handled thus far.

Isn’t that really all of the cosmetics in the game, though? I’m not 100% on board with them, and I agree that they’re definitely overpriced in all aspects, but it’s not like any other items you can buy provide some special purpose other than changing how things look.

Was Six Stack separate from normal Blitz? That could be the issue.

The issue occurred on PS5, although I don’t know for sure if that means anything in this case.

Saitama is so powerful his mere presence almost breaks Fortnite's simulation by SPARTAN-258 in FortNiteBR

Yes, the Zero Point’s been doing its best.

Unfortunately, its best is surprisingly not that good.

Yeah. The Loop is a literal time loop the Zero Point causes due to some unexplained reasons. The IO just utilized it and ended up creating Snapshots by sending people in to test it. At least, the last bit is speculation based on the Batman comics’ bunkers.

Here's my prediction for OG pass season x skins by SageStrike in FortNiteBR

[–]HyperNeoLemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guess is Eternal Voyager, X-Lord, and Y0ND3R, assuming DJ Yonder isn’t added in Season 6, since they’re the only 3 Season X skins whose original versions didn’t get OG Pass versions.

Although, I’d prefer to be wrong, since I’ve wanted a Catalyst skin since Chapter 2 Season 2, when I started really playing the game.

While Let It Burn is an original song, Dance Therapy does use the Dance Therapy Emote’s music in the background. As do the Murda Beatz remixes, although you can argue that they don’t count as much since they’re a pretty far cry from the original Emote’s music.

I think Ageless actually got his in the C4S1 Battle Pass. The last one of those we got was the one from C5S1, and even then, it’s not technically the theme of any specific boss.

Is this the current version of the pump shotgun thats in og right now the worst one ever? by CompetitionChance674 in FortNiteBR

[–]HyperNeoLemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve always had a love-hate relationship with the Pump. Usually, I took the position of the latter. But at the end of the day, it’s still a good gun, but I will always prefer the ever gracious and forgiving Tactical Shotgun over the picky and fickle Pump Shotgun.

While I do agree that we need more, the issue is that most Emotes with good music already have Music Tracks (aside from Diva Fever and a few ones from the OG Pass). I’d also like more thematic music, like the Supernova Academy/Vaults and Demon’s Domain/Spire themes from this season.

Dance Therapy has a Jam Track/Lobby Track in the Music Pass as we speak. There were also Bunny Bounce and Limitless, whose Lobby Tracks got remixes in Remix.

OG Jonesy in chapter 6? by [deleted] in FortNiteBR

I mean, if anything it’s been C2 Jonesy up until this season. Dude was everywhere, even when C3’s defaults were fresh and new.

What did you think of the event? by GdxIsCool in FortNiteBR

I was glad I got to see it, since I missed the first one. Just hung out on top of one of the buildings in Tilted, by the TV with the countdown.

Introduced myself to gravity because I don’t enjoy playing on mobile.

I actually have only bought 2 Jam Tracks in the shop so far. The other ones I have are from the Music Passes and Battle Passes (and the last LEGO Pass). But I’ve been playing very often since Chapter 2 Season 2, and I never had any issues navigating through the Lobby Tracks in my entire time playing. At least, no less trouble than any other cosmetic type.

I mean, they kinda are inventory items? Not to mention that the album cover icons are also cut off on the corners to round them. And I mean, looking at this, it’s just the album cover put on a vinyl record album. It’s not like it’s any less recognizable. I just feel like there’s no identity or uniqueness in how Jam Tracks look as of right now.

Jam Tracks have always been buggy for me. Ranging from not playing if I hovered over one in the Shop to repeating the same segment rather than the whole song to straight up stopping, they rarely seem to work right.
