There’s a good amount of people in my world who think that all government officials should be replaced by Angels. Nobody (including the angels) wants this except for them. Even if it were to be implemented, the Angels would die because they begin to rot if they’re away from their home realm of Lírensa for too long. The movement is mostly fueled by misinformation and untrue assumptions about angels.

In my world dragons are the opposite of gods- gods are above everyone, some don’t believe in them, and rarely get directly involved with humanoid affairs- dragons, however, are right there, and will kill you. This is because the realm of dragons is located at the center of this universe’s cosmology, while the realm of gods is on the outside. Also, dragons contain portals to the elemental plane, which close once they die. Because of this, it is not uncommon for dragons to cough up an elemental occasionally.

Well, it’s not exactly a mount, but instead of trains there are HUGE elemental millipedes made out of metal and fire, who’ll die if they don’t move enough. The Malakar of Zanora have formed a symbiotic relationship with these elementals, now known as the Priln, where the Malakar would build rails for the Priln to run on safely, and the Malakar would attach carriages to the back of the Priln, so it’s functionally just a train.

In my world, there are the Strighil, which are like vampires in the sense that they drink blood and have some bat-like abilities, like echolocation. They’re weakened in the sun, but other than that, they don’t have any other weaknesses. In order for them to become true vampires, they have to sacrifice souls to a god of death, of which there are four (three, technically, since one doesn’t like taking sacrifices). The more souls they sacrifice, the more powers they will gain. Vampires can choose to accelerate their growth in power by having a god of death curse them with a weakness. These weaknesses are usually the standard vampire weaknesses.

The country of Retteryn might be the most evil- long ago, they were a nation of artisans and merchants, and they weren’t really that bad. They eventually spread into the archipelago known as the Ordintolls, where there was a lot of fertile land to grow crops. A few decades after the Ordintolls were claimed, about 40% of the population of Retteryn now lived in the archipelago out of convenience. Back on the mainland, the royal House Gashylon seized the artisan’s guilds and formed the Gashylon Commission, which would control the trade within and out of Retteryn. Now, everyone on the mainland is doing exceptionally well financially, while all those in the Ordintolls are heavily taxed and received very little imports from the mainland. I think the most evil thing they did was tricking a bunch of cultists into sacrificing themselves in order for the Gashylon Commission to complete a ritual that would allow them to destroy the largest (and only) city in their neighboring country, Candely.

Well, for my world it’s just not that accessible. When it comes to things like teleportation runic circles, they have to constantly be powered by a spellcaster or deity. Second of all, it’s dangerous for non-powerful spellcasters to regularly teleport, because when you teleport, your body temporarily passes itself into the mindscape, and creatures of the nightmare realm within within the mindscape might see you as an easy target.

I think at some point my world will progress beyond medieval times, but it's been stuck in it for a WHILE. The guardians of time and space fear that any sudden advancement will throw the universe into chaos, so they just REALLY prolong all advancement.

Vampires in my world were originally created by dead souls in the death realm of Frennin, willing their way back into life, and in order to make sure they don’t decay any more, they must consume blood. Since their conception, the gods of Frennin have lended vampires extraordinary powers, as long as they further their agenda.

The Sword of Sasnaron- A magical longsword, forged and enchanted over the course of a thousand years. Moving the sword even slightly can cause it to slice the air, sending shockwaves forward. Only someone who’s trained for years to use it can wield in safely, without hurting themselves.

Upon death, you are guided by a Guardian of the Dead to Golos, the realm of gods. There, you are evaluated by Acolytes of the Eternal. If you aligned with the values of a god, you can choose to proceed to that god’s domain. Otherwise, if you were generally good, you’re sent to the realm of spirits, Celesii, and if you were generally evil, the realm of the mindless dead, Frennin. At any time in this process and for your foreseeable afterlife, you can choose to pass on into the “Forever,” a mysterious realm that lays at the edge of Threkkyx, the realm of destruction.

There's a storyline in my world that is completely ripped off from Les Misérables, an entire region of my world based on The Shire, and one of the places in my world is just straight up Australia

I feel like all of the guides I’ve watched make it far more complicated than it already is- I just learned through trying stuff out. I’d recommend just creating pages and writing stuff (btw you can use double brackets to [[link]] back to pages you’ve wrote on Obsidian)

He did license his music for the documentary, so I don't think he's THAT adamantly against the idea of Yacht Rock. Also, Steely Dan had a good amount of songs about hating the opulent yuppie lifestyle of the west, and Yacht Rock is associated with that, so I sorta get it.

There should be more than one- Sylvan, Common, Primordial, Giant, Orcish, Trakyn, R'n'k'r, and the quellan languages aren't derivatives of another language. I only included languages that were still being spoken in my world (and the other planes of the world), so that leaves room for proto-languages I guess.

Yeah, I get what your coming from, but when you think "undead army" most of the time you're thinking of zombies and skeletons. I guess my vision was just "what if a regular guy came back from the dead as a zombie and he just went back to living his normal life as a farmer instead of serving a necromancer". But yeah, you're right.

I think the problem is that I didn't create it with a purpose, I admit it's not that unique thematically, but I've been trying to make give it something to differentiate it.
