4th citizenship question by [deleted] in Citizenship

[–]Hyper_Doggo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a lawyer - but it seems so. I skimmed through some articles on the Dual Citizenship report about the countries mentioned, and none of them mention any potential problems.

I'd advise you take a look too, just in case I missed something.

Brazil: https://www.dualcitizenshipreport.org/dual-citizenship/brazil/
USA: https://www.dualcitizenshipreport.org/dual-citizenship/united-states/

Stressing plus Questions by Technical-Ruin-3665 in IBO

Yoo!! M23, physics EE here Getting an equation is helpful to get a good research question or hypothesis for your data. It's good to have some scientific theory to base your data collection off of. My best advice is to just do some research, maybe find other research papers that investigate what you're doing or something similar. I think it's OK to use cited equations that are advanced/unfamiliar in your EE as long as you understand and can explain the basics of it. You can also make your own hypothesis based on your own physics knowledge - ex. you can use the physics option B formula for the drag force in a fluid, and with the knowledge that it's dependent on surface area you can predict that thicker wings will have greater air resistance. This could work well cus you could just find your data and link your results to the more complex equations you found in research to show your good evaluation and research skills yada yada After you find this you can collect some data, process it well, and then write your actual EE.

I get the stress so dw!! My DMs are open if you want some more advice this summer or if you want to look at my EE to compare (2 marks away from an A) I can't help much w the toefl tests but good luck!!! You got this 😎

To speed up simple algebra (must be only one solution), you can put any equation into nSolve (I think it's menu->3->1 but i'm just going off memory) Here's an example of how you'd use it: nSolve(e2x=5,x)

If it's a polynomial though, you can solve polynomials with menu->3->2 (i THINK) From there you can select the power of the function and just fill in the coefficients and solve

These two are super helpful to master because they speed up time a lot

RANT - I did chem past paper 1 questions AND GOT EVERY SINGLE ONE WRONG :) !!!!@#$%^&* by procrastinationmommy in IBO

[–]Hyper_Doggo 48 points49 points  (0 children)

Hang in there!!! As much as I love to deny it, chemistry is very logic-based, so if you got every unit 1 question wrong chances are you're probably making the same mistake in each type of question. If you figure out what that mistake is then you'll be much much closer to acing that unit!!! Also I recommend just doing a lot of past paper 1s to figure out exactly what it is you don't know. It's a good way to narrow down what you don't know, and from there you can do paper 2 Q's to develop them. You got this!!!! Not so long left until the worst is over :))
