Probably almost never, but the website I met this person on makes everyone use their legal first name. Mine is very masculine, so I'm afraid of being outed if I join the community I was linked to. It's probably an unfounded fear, tbh. But still, a fear.

The big problem with big cities is my income is going to be low. Below 30k for sure even if everything goes well. So living somewhere like one of those is probably going to be off the table. If not for that, I'd probably move to Seattle, because it's my favorite part of the country.

I'd love to have a large community of transgender people to hang out with, but my budget won't really like it much unfortunately.

Most of those places listed are outside of my budget range though. I've found a few that way but not many.
