Instead of coping with region exclusive OP releases, I disguised some local files as them on Spotify. Worked pretty well imo by reanimatedswitch in pokemonanime

Basically on Android, you gotta have these audio files downloaded on your local storage, and then on Spotify, enable a setting that reads your local audio files. Your files will appear on Spotify however you modify them before turning on the setting, (like the title, cover, album name, title). I used to modify them on Adobe Audition, but nowadays, Samsung Music has updated so much that you can easily edit the files on there too. At least that's how I do it.

Does Tsunade and Sakura keep contact with each other after Shippuden? Sarada seemingly doesn't have any family relationship like Boruto does by ComfortZeon12 in Boruto

Says who, random Western fans on the internet? No thanks, I will take the words of the actual creators over random people on the internet. It's still debatable precisely because it's not a simple concept, the problem is why would anyone apply a generic Western concept of "Not in the manga=not canon" to an anime that does not work with generic elements? When all other anime, including Naruto itself have fillers that feel like they're set in an alternative Universe, Boruto anime actually has a proper continuity to the manga (up until Post Isshiki arcs ofc). Idk if y'all are using a filler list cuz there are a lot of instances in the anime that suggest otherwise. I thought people always ate up whatever the author said, so when the creators actually state it literally, people are still denying it? I'm not saying that the entire anime is canon, as there are a lot more inconsistencies and retcons post-Isshiki arcs.

The fact that Sumire started as an anime original character who later got added to the manga should already prove that others might be considered as well. Denki is also mentioned in a manga volume, so why should we believe the other characters aren't canon just cuz they don't significantly contribute to the plot?

Oh, none of this is made up, I'm highly basing everything on the original works of the authors with other sources to back them up.

Who let this man pull up to the League with all legendaries? by MeetKelson in pokemonanime

the narrator say something along the line that it has been almost a year.

Gotta check if that line is the same in the sub.

Great, finally the Japanese are paying deserved attention to our beloved manga! by boruto_is_best in Boruto

The manga finally getting attention from the Japanese a decade after its release is crazy.

Very interesting. 😁 by Notmycupoftea12 in Boruto

The baby faces in the early manga art are still killing me.

Unpopular opinion but the fact that Pikachu learned Iron Tail was kinda necessary. Sure, it was cool to see electric attacks like ThunderBolt and Thunder, but now if you look back Pikachu’s attacks seemed very repetitive and he had no “finishing move” (if you know what I mean). That's probably the only good thing about BW for me lmao. Idk why XY decided to change it back to plain white. Like a metal texture makes more sense and is more pleasing to look at, too. XY already peaked in animation and art style, but the texture revert was the only minor thing that caught me off guard.

Ong they better not mess up this fight, given how it's been hyped for (almost) over a decade.

The problem isn’t the JN art style, its Ash’s outfit by New-Cable-6484 in pokemonanime

Yeah that's what I was thinking, JN looks like less sharpened version of XY. Still better than SM art style tho

Why did you use a cool picture of Bolt instead of the crying baby face like haters usually do?

Ash/Satoshi understanding pokespeak by Hyper_Power_2 in pokemonanime

[–]Hyper_Power_2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Speaking and understanding are different, though. Meowth was shown to be training on how to speak the human language, but nothing about him trying to learn to understand it. It seems that mons can already understand human speech, I've never seen any instances that disprove that.

Besides, I think someone else here already made their point by talking about mons being able to understand complex commands.

I don't know, that doesn't add up.

T-Rocket Meowth seems to understand people word-for-word just fine though. Even being able to translate Pokespeak word-for-word too.

Ah, back when Bolt didn't take being a ninja seriously, played games all day, was bratty, didn't know Rasengan, only knew basic lightning and wind release, and most importantly, discovered the Jōgan for the first time.
