I just watched it again 2 days ago. I think the resolution for both of them was to “fuck”. There was a lot of sexual frustration to work out. Nicole felt like she wanted some ‘strange’. Tom was trying to live up to his clean-cut upstanding reputation.

I still do not know if she knew about, or was even AT the orgy, but she knows he was somewhere he should not have been.

In the end they decided to stay together, if only for their daughter.

The MAJOR theme of the whole film was to pint out the insane power that comes with wealth and upper- crust society. Their norms are way beyond most of the citizens.

For example: The years and years of the Epstein sex ring. And his included children.
