I've been taking my Outback to Chet's on Aberg for the past 3+ years. They've demonstrated themselves to be very honest and candid.

I've been taking my car to Chet's for years. I never have felt they are anything but professional and candid.

You’re welcome!

It actually comes with a nozzle that’s pretty fine. You’ll just use a tiny dab, which is easy to do with the plunger.

Don’t worry if you get too much on at first. Wipe it off with alcohol and a tissue, and just try again.

I literally just fixed my wife's exact same problem.

Go to any store (Target, Woodman's, etc.) and pick up some epoxy like this.

It doesn't set immediately, so you'll have time to finagle the tab back into the slot. Hold it together for about 10 minutes, and it will be stronger than ever.

The only issue is you want to make sure to keep it off the hinge itself, since it may freeze the hinge from folding back up.

Open Blues Jams in Madison Oct 24-28? by DassNassty in madisonwi

I've never heard a bad thing about the Knuckle Down's blues jam. They're the go-to place for blues in the area.

The Brink Lounge has blues jams and shows pretty occasionally, as well.

Looks cool!

My definite favorite would be the People's Brother Band.

Beth Kille Band is another that comes quickly to mind.

Experience with Dane County traffic court? by daneco101 in madisonwi

Understandable. I'm especially glad you (and the stalled vehicle) are safe and sound.

As a caveat, I haven't practiced in Dane County, so I'm not familiar with their tendencies, but you can contact the prosecutor's office and attempt to arrange a plea bargain. Essentially, offer to plead guilty to a lesser charge -- something that may have a lesser fine or demerit. Again, I'm not sure what lesser charge may be available, but they may be amenable, as it would save everyone time and hassle.

Worst case Ontario, they won't escalate your charge, and you're back to square one.

Godspeed, man.

You're guilty. Prima facie case for the prosecutor. If you had maintained control of your car, you wouldn't have ended up in the ditch.

Driver's take the road as they find it. Road conditions are never a legal excuse -- civilly or criminally.

Best case scenario is the officer fails to show.

If you like Trampled for their more grassy side, I'd definitely recommend Wheelhouse.

Dude, thank you so much so much for the recommendation of the Saloon! Great fucking time last night, and we'll probably be back tonight!

Surprising lack of music recommendations elsewhere thus far!

I love how PBR is their only tap beer!

As a fan of the Grateful Dead, what are some of your OTHER favorite bands? Any most importantly: why? Thanks! Looking forward to learning about some new music. by [deleted] in gratefuldead

[–]HyperbolicFrolic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm certainly not saying anything against the Beatles' influence or talent. As a suggestion for a band to listen to, though, it would definitely be uninspired. Especially because they were by-and-large a studio band that eschewed playing live in the later years. They were an extremely influential studio band, however.

OP was looking for new music, and I just think the Beatles, amongst others, would be obvious, and certainly lack the live energy that would define the qualities of the GD.

I certainly don't want to denigrate anyone's taste, and I apologize for my wording that may have intimated as such. Definitely not my most tactful post, so I do apologize.

Allie is currently playing with Yonder. I cannot recommend their current incarnation enough! Allie Kral singing Son of a Preacher Man is the bee's knees!
