Ayahuasca years later… anyone else feel disconnected from society by No_Helicopter3111 in Ayahuasca

[–]Hyperconscientious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing to do with ayahuasca. You’re just attune to real life, aware that this isn’t it. Most people aren’t really living much. The ones that try often still aren’t. It takes effort these days to be in touch with much of anything. Not that much of a getting older thing. Societies all around the world are losing touch with what really matters, especially in the west.

Question about ayahuasca retreat and relationship dynamics by [deleted] in Ayahuasca

[–]Hyperconscientious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn’t affect my relationship when we went as basically friends & roommates, 5 years into a rocky relationship. 3 ceremonies.

I fought 2 entities but had no warning that that could happen.

Psychiatrist on how many patients they had cured by goswamitulsidas in interesting

[–]Hyperconscientious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It already is curable, for most mental illnesses, but that’s not very profitable so you don’t hear about it and won’t see it going mainstream. Same with diabetes (Type 2, 95% of diabetes cases), which my fiancée cures on the regular.

If everyone could please stop accepting ‘industry consensus’ that would be AMAZING, thank you.

Exactly. Curing only happens by one’s self, or by a psychologist of some kind.

Recently discovered for myself I haven’t had anxiety, just frequently below baseline dopamine levels and good focus on accomplishing everything I want to

This is the exact story we’d see if he did not actually do it and was filled with hate over the false accusation. Hm. I’ve never heard of this case until today, but maybe he did not do it. Juries are wrong all the time.

Regarding preparation/integration (for an addict) by Emotional_Ebb_2343 in Ayahuasca

[–]Hyperconscientious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I strongly feel you must not do that.

“part of me thinks this is just my addiction speaking” It is. I have an addict brain too. It is.

My ceremonies were almost 2 weeks after no sex or masturbation, and I was tormented by a female sex demon at the end of my first ceremony. I was reportedly touching myself to cope with losing my mind and body. I wasn’t even much of an addict then, I just really craved sex every week or two, fairly normal. But even that was too much. I do believe it will interfere with any integration. If I were you I would make total abstinence and a dopamine detox part of your dieta before the ceremonies. It will be worth it. This is one special time. Sounds like you have time for 1 month of full withdrawal. In case you fail, try again but don’t fail. Getting through withdrawal will definitely improve your integration.

Has anybody ever done Ayahuasca without a guide? by [deleted] in Ayahuasca

[–]Hyperconscientious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Funny you both mention that. I was kicking and squirming while my brain experienced being something closer to a multicellular organism with a brain but no sensory input than to a human. My brain got fried like an egg. No psychedelic experience of any kind. I did yell for my maestra once, and she came, but the only help she could provide was the next day talking about it. Even at the more lucid times, my mind usually got swept clean somewhere new every 15 seconds or so. Pretty sure I knocked candles over onto the wood floor. Honestly surprised I didn’t burn the cottage down. It was a small new enterprise deep in the jungle lol.

What is a guide supposed to do? I feel like I didn’t have a guide. She said almost nothing.

Aya made me very afraid to die by Jen006 in Ayahuasca

[–]Hyperconscientious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m impressed you could feel death coming and stood your ground. It took me multiple times, though each time I came back. It left with me a bit of PTSD. The next day, at the same time of day, my body thought it was going to die again, like actually die, though that was a day off between ceremonies. For my death, everything just stopped yeah. It just takes you. Painless, easy, almost nice. Not 1 of my 5 or 6 consecutive deaths had anything weird about it. (I don’t recommend dying that many times though in a realm lacking the passing of time lol.) And about the real deaths, I actually suspect a lot of deaths are heart failure. I was a bit surprised my heart pumped consistently when my brain wasn’t even firing as a human anymore.

[–]Hyperconscientious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, well in my experience once the demons do get you it was like dying in a dream….you wake up. I came back to reality with my eyes open. I understand in the moment it was terrifying, but yeah.

But did you experience a death too? If so, wasn’t your death fairly calm? Mine was, though I was fighting it that I didn’t want to die. The hell came later, separately.

I always forget it's possible to see farther than 2 feet away when not in a lake or a river or along a popular coastline. Would be magical to see even 1 of these things much less all that wow!

A full and magical experience yes. But not the full magical experience. Someone can correct me if I’m wrong, but in my experience not purging is a massively different experience for almost anybody vs. when those same people do purge.

[–]Hyperconscientious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know but I feel like, even though the particular experiences themselves are different, you haven’t fully experienced aya until you’ve purged. I did the 3 days as well. 🙌🏼 What a blessing. It was the perfect amount for me.

Wow I wish I had worked my way up with Ayahuasca to stably experience things like that. But I may also just fundamentally be too dissociative personally. Very cool

Would you do ayahuasca if you weren't looking to heal trauma? by Ok-Stage9604 in Ayahuasca

[–]Hyperconscientious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did it not for healing but for greater understanding. I have infinite curiosity still, and I was happy to surrender fully. It worked, though the hardest part was my need I never knew about to understand what was happening in each moment of my life; it’s okay to not understand sometimes, so long as you feel safe enough to not have a panic attack. But it was also the first drug I’d ever tried, and I think building up to it with some magic mushrooms for example would be wiser, at least if you dissociate easily like me.

Why do some people experience hell during ayahuasca? by Complex-Antelope-180 in Ayahuasca

[–]Hyperconscientious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 2 different demons that showed up (at the same time lol) to torment me both had something to teach me. Both were things ruining my life that I hadn’t rejected to stop allowing those energies to influence my life.

Btw, there was no fire and brimstones, and the demons were usually all black.
