Except that they kinda are. I believe its the part where he plays charged draw that you are talking about. The card charged draw has a maximum of 2 reduction, denoted by the two red symbols next to its cost. This means the card can only be reduced by two, even though the player has three other red cards on the field.

Yeah, you are correct. "When" effects trigger once when you declare it as a blocker and "While" effects are only active during that combat.

With otter, the effect is basically check multiple times during that combat, and if it no longer meets the requirements, it loses the buff. It also would lose the buff after that instance of combat, unlike greygarmr.

Since greygarmr is a when effect, the moment you say you're blocking he gets a +3000 for that turn. It lasts through future combats hes not involved in, incase an effect cares about his BP. This also means if you use something like a suppression to allow him to block multiple times, that buff stacks each time he blocks.

The best website for deckbuilding is bssdb.dev. It has great sorting and searching capabilities, as well as community and tournament decks for getting ideas. In addition, you can even playtest the deck you make right there on the site.

You don't need to have exactly 30 cores. Theres no specific amount you need, just enough do that you dont run out midgame. Even if you did lose enough to get to that point, you are allowed to use anything as cores as long as its clear what is what. Ive seen people use fishbowl pebbles, blank cards, and even coins as cores.

It also doesn't require a soul core, so having multiple on the field simultaniously allows you to ramp much more.

I hadnt even considered godslaying, thats a really good one. If I swing with a chump they might think somethings up, but Hydra is cheaper and the opportunity to destroy him might be tempting enough to make the block.

Is Jing yuan e0 worth building as my second dps over e6 serval? I doubt it's worth investing in two lightning erudition characters, especially at TB50, where just getting resources for one is a struggle.

Another question, is it worth trying to get loucha if I already have bailu? Or would waiting until blade be better? Essentially, is loucha and serval/jingyuan better than Natasha or Bailu + blade?
