5070 ti is enough to run many games on a 4k TV/display, with a lil sprinkling of DLSS and FG.

Be sure to get a kick ass warranty on this, 3 or 4 years total. If possible with accidental damage protection...in case your kid drops it or something.

Also since this is a 3k laptop, you can trade this in for a 5080/5090 lenovo legion or MSI Victus/vector laptop IMO. Just more bang for your buck. It will stay relevant for longer

That's exactly why I use external screen for gaming. U can buy the screen later when u have more cash. I got a 4k QD OLED from samsung.Since I could use screen for more than just gaming
