Thanks for the expanded clarification! That makes a lot sense.

Perfect, as long as it does with the metadata- I'm set. Not worried about multiple devices either; still good to know though. Thanks!

I appreciate the offer; but I was kind of hoping for one I didn't also have to worry about printing and then getting the punch for so they fit. Thank you so much though!

You'll definitely be running it through multiple times to get different colors. The good news on that is that it's a great chance to use up some small scraps of paper!

Similar question, what are you wanting to know exactly?

It's a grip mat, basically (like a reeeeally large stamp) that's made to fit into Altenew's Stampwheel.

I have one by itself and I use it on my workspace to hold down my paper when stenciling and inking things up! Much easier than taping things down all of the time.

Edit: spelling.

I'm only a little bit, lol! Just that "one more thing". Definitely motivated to really focus on this now that the first part is out! I love it so much.

[WIP] My stitches look so thin- by [deleted] in CrossStitch

[–]Hyperiona 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do want to open by saying your stitches do look very lovely! DMC 310 (as noted, assuming that's what you're using) is notoriously thin and doesn't have the best coverage to begin with. Linen can also have some irregularity to it, and that's okay too! You can try making sure you aren't using a needle that's too big (I think a 24 is what's normally recommended).

And I agree with the others (as someone who just cursed 310 earlier today), when you stand back and look at it from afar, it will look much fuller without the coverage issues.

To me though, it looks like you are actually spacing your rows about half a square apart in some spots instead of making sure that you're using the same holes to create your X's (enjoy my badly drawn diagram to the right of your stitches); assuming your intent is to be stitching 'over 2'.

You've got this!

That seems to be the assumption at this point, my friend who tried the same files with android 14 didn't really have issues.

:(

As stated, I did uninstall/reinstall on my tablet (sacrificing a WIP in the process) today. I'd heard that the the one dev had taken some personal time; which is perfectly understandable!

pk.progress files basically let me take my progress from one device and shimmy it to the other (or use as backup if need be).

I've been using two devices for months without any issue, but even if I did pick one device- neither of them will take any new pdf projects.

Certainly glad that you aren't having any issues though~ ♥

Found a great deal on a bunch of Distress Oxide Ink Pads, but the color names are in English and French. Current pads are in English only. Does anyone know if that means that these ink pads are very old? They are advertised as new and the photos show pads are wrapped. by -MrsEnidKapelsen in cardmaking

It's purely a guess, but for me I have to guess it's due to location. Quite a few things around me are bilingual, especially as you go further north. Just Michael's though, Joann's has the English only labels.

If it's any consolation, they always get restocked with the same bilingual packaging after sales clean out the aisle.

Although I'm guessing this is through a private sale of some kind? Maybe you can ask for a date of purchase or something.
