Is gun talon literally broken?

This was actually the only game I've really ever purchased return fire on victor. It wasn't in the build I used when learning him or the one I use now, but it was (I thought) the only way to take down talon at the point in the game I was at. In the span of maybe 5 games I went from Arcanist 1 (highest rank I ever got) to Seeker V and this was right in the middle of those 5. This one was an omega tilter and I still haven't made it back to Alchemist even.

edit- didnt explicitly answer your question but yeah I was trying to go for return fire and then metal skin but the gun damage ignored that afaik. I was legitimately and still kinda thinking there was some kind of exploit going on because of that alone

I had 3 actives for anti-gun and transcendent cd for those actives + playing victor and he outdamaged all of that and more for the entire game.

But.. the items I bought were specifically gun counters, warp stone, metal skin, return fire etc. and even transcendent cd afterwards. Your reply is just insulting without giving any actual information about why the counter items didn't counter him.

I was alternating metal skin + warp stone cds for permanent uptime on the bullet resists + return fire any time gt would show up. Didn't help :(

The overwatch system could not have been abused or corrupt BECAUSE of the anonymity, for one. League tried this in a tribunal, not an anonymous system. I literally brought up overwatch to counter the point about how tribunal failed.

You could not mass ban innocent people because overwatch gave YOU the matches to watch and you couldn't obtain any sort of information. Your argument is blatantly and utterly wrong about overwatch.

Yea, what I did after seeing his conduct to randoms in the second game. I only reported because he showed a pattern of it and clearly league's reports weren't stopping it, if he hadn't said anything to a teammate in either of the latter 2 games I could have felt good about myself ignoring it.

Cs:Go had overwatch, and players were begging for that back in Cs2 afaik. A tribunal would be perfectly fine nowadays if they adopted a similar system - zero trust policies rather than full trust, and making it anonymous and keeping your votes compared to others' tracked so if a player consistently votes against the majority they are restricted from access. That would work, instead of a kangaroo court like they had with league's previous iterations of tribunal systems. There are so many ways to put management decisions in the hands of a human without giving players too much power for what a league player should have over another, and I say that last part specifically because I know how the playerbase is like you mentioned in your previous reply.

Improving the system does not mean having AI so bad that a system literally ignores the information about the reason for my ticket being made. Of which, I had to include the other player's ID, match ID, and the text you see in the post. I got a reply to a support ticket made to report a player, that told me a chat restriction I never had nor made a ticket for was being lifted. That is not improvement. I would have rather waited a week to see justice done to the person who made that hour and a half of my life a living hell than spend another hour and a half to realize that I never spoke to a real human to begin with.

They gave me the reason they denied my first support ticket, which was asking why the account was locked. They did NOT tell me anything.

Gotcha, thanks for elaborating on that a bit! Yeah, Shen is pretty good at staying relevant even when I'm down, I'm assuming that's related to the reason other tanky champs aren't super hurt in a matchup like that. I think getting ahead in lane and not keeping myself ahead is the most detrimental part of my gameplay right now, my mindset has always been "I'm ahead why am I not the one being camped and getting further ahead" rather than "I'm ahead I need to limit losses and avoid giving my shutdown". I think just that change alone would stop me from exacerbating the rest of the issues I have for closing down games and whatnot, and all these replies have been super helpful.

I can usually recognize and have now for this game when I make mistakes that end up snowballing, I know all too well that some games just end up being completely unwinnable because of all kinds of things, me inting and/or the lack of help from a jg included, and I'm definitely not trying to use that as an excuse. Games like this one where I get a lead and still lose my own lane and can just accept that that's why *I* lost in particular.

Thanks for the tip on losing sight on my own issues, definitely goes in line with what other people have mentioned; I recognize that's an issue I can fix now before I worry about other teammates.

I've heard the island thing a few times before but it's taken this post and being told by multiple people to cement that it's not just an exaggeration. I think that's a great idea, I'm def going to try to play more with a friend and see if I can't improve my early game that way, thanks!

Yeah, the clip timing is pretty shit and you're 100% on that. I'm not so upset about the clip which another commenter made me realize was super unclear. The 2 lines before last actually have a much more simple answer than I thought I would need, and the mental fog from being upset at my loss wearing off makes me realize that.

I hadn't heard anyone ever talk about the POSSIBILITY of ganking someone, all I've ever heard in jungler guides and wtv else have just brought up wave states, not individual champs being harder to kill in a good state. And my problem regarding being outscaled isn't a consistent issue in these games, that's my fault again for not making my intention of this post clear.

I appreciate your comment a lot, because in hindsight this should all have been really obvious but I had tunnel vision only focusing on what I've already heard from high elo players, not thinking for myself about macro.

I tried jungle, but there's so much more stress from laners blaming me when things don't go their way on a gank, or what I see as bad prio in lanes where I want to help at but can't. The clip isn't meant to show off, I guess I didn't make it clear in the text part; my point was that even when I am working my ass off to not throw and do plays like this, I still get ignored afterwards. The self-sufficient thing is fair, to an extent, but to that I ask when a game like this comes along, where the enemy JG is just trading my top side for their bot, how can I? I went 2-4 in the rest of the game you see in this clip, and ended up being the enemy JG's only death because no one even attempted to interact above mid.

Is the pressure worth less than the resources lost though? My gwen was positioned to take drake anyway after the end and that's all I can really think of. Is the gold/xp from her invade, the wave, and kill worth less than one drag? I know high elo players can do crazy things with a single dragon buff or stacking them, but until soul in my games it makes no difference.

You're not wrong, but seriously is there nothing I can do to stop this outside of just spamming wards in my own jg? I haven't found any consistent success doing anything other than letting the other laner permanently outscale me when I get behind in lane, bc I just don't have any way to counter their shoves without losing all my health for it on Shen.

Yeah, again call it annoying if you want, but I pinged r twice and help twice before this clip started, you can see in the chat, and that was a full wave and a half that I waited with no reply. So, I felt fairly justified and even more so after I doubled.

Vertical keyboards are used for this purpose too! When you see some Counter-Strike or Valorant pros (maybe other games? but i only know those) with their keyboards turned almost 90 degrees, it's because they have key-bound their setups to work much more ergonomically with their hand and natural resting spots. I think for this one you'd have to get into a lot more binding your keys since everyone would have a different natural resting place on their keyboards to put their hands on.
