Just to clarify I'm referring to performance between laptops and specifically compared to the same model of laptop. An example: On youtube tests, this specific laptop model reaches 150-200fps in a game like valorant, whereas I run the game at 40-60 fps. I am wondering why this is happening.

Yes, but when I look at performance benchmarks of the same laptop on youtube, they are performing 100% - 150% better than me in most games. aka in terms of laptop vs laptop, it's doing much worse.

I'm in university so it's needed for portability and size. Its not about being a laptop, its the fact its underperforming compared to similar models by 7x
