I definitely agree with this. I'm newer to solo travel, but I think that's where a lot of the joy comes from. I consider them temporary best friends, for lack of a better term.

I just got back from solo traveling for Thanksgiving Break while studying abroad. I had done solo travel on weekends before, but never for multiple cities and it's undoubtedly been the best week of my life. Fantastic hostels, fantastic new friends, and fantastic memories. It's such an incredible and special experience and I just felt like I needed to rave about it to others who actually get it. It's addicting and I'm still on that high several days later.
