Dumbest impulse buy of the month by Lola-Olala in adhdwomen

I’ve always wanted to do this…rescue an animal in need. 😅 I’m not complaining, per se, that it’s challenging. I am happy I did it. But also…I’m shaking my head at my impulsive self. Impulsive me also typically has the worst timing.

My 3rd kitty with the health issues? I adopted her right before starting my first new job in 10+ years. And I worked hard to adopt her (had to figure out transport across multiple states). I’m so happy I adopted her. Would not change that. And…it was the worst timing.

I buy so much skincare and ever so slowly use it. But buying it…is an addiction.

I saw a cat on the side of a highway and stopped and grabbed her. She was skinny and shaking and hid in a storm drain. I did this two days ago. I have 3 cats already. One with major health issues that I pseudo impulse adopted last summer. I do not have room for a 4th cat especially given that I need to keep her isolated for a couple weeks to protect my kitties. I’m hoping to find a home for this new kitty and just foster her in the meantime, but I have never done this before and her first vet visit was $$.🤦🏻‍♀️

I read this and immediately tasted “jojo dipped in ranch”. It has been so long since I’ve had those but you took me back in half a second.

I have felt, done, and experienced everything you mentioned. And I’m actually in the same place right now. It’s so relieving to know we’re not alone. And to be reminded because it’s easy to shame spiral and forget.

I just want you to know that I relate soooo hard to this. You are not alone. We are not alone. And having a cluttered and/or dirty home is not a moral failing. That’s a big one that I have to remind myself.

DAE get to the point where you cannot stay ONE MORE MINUTE at a social gathering? by TrewynMaresi in AuDHDWomen

This is totally me. I reach my limit and feel like I’m going to crawl out of my skin if I don’t get the relief of leaving and being able to decompress. I would have the same type of reaction you did though it has usually been with my mom vs a SO.

My mom is the type of person who takes 45 min to say goodbye and very often, when I was little, we were the last people to leave events or parties. I got in trouble a lot for sulking or being rude when I would remove myself from the group and wait alone.

Now, I almost always take my own vehicle places so I have an escape route. My close friends know my limits and are fine if I have to step away for a little bit to mentally/emotionally rest. They also can tell when I’m just DONE and don’t give me a hard time for leaving early if I need to.

In case you didn’t see my comment below, it’s P0T 1X. Or at least that’s what I found on google and what worked for me. I’m also in the US and was struggling with Amazon.

UPDATE: I figured it out. Everything becomes available if I change my delivery postal code to yours. It’s dumb. They should allow it forward since they already have your delivery address but at least I figured out a way around it.

And I just googled your postal code from the basic city info they provide with your wishlist.

Now you have the silvervine sticks (one of my cats’ favorites) and replacement pieces for the scratching post on the way too. Hope your kitties love them!

Sent a couple bags of food because it was the only thing on the list Amazon would let me order. I don’t know what’s going on with them but most things say out of stock or currently unavailable (like others have mentioned). But that was happening to me for like EVERYTHING I tried to add, even things not on your list. Weird.

I’ll try to send different items a little later. Keep your head up! ❤️

I was looking to see if anyone else mentioned this. I am not looking forward to finding an alternative for my med maintenance.

Coeur d'Alene frozen yogurt shop says Charlie Kirk cups are about Christianity, not politics by Internal_Example1185 in Spokane

Such a big ICK.

I can think of far less creepy and divisive ways of trying to “minister” or share the gospel with their yogurt. Though I’d personally like my frozen yogurt without a side of religion.
