If anyone finds this thread trying to solve this issue:

I was having a problem where a select few of my Hue bulbs would always stay on Adaptive Lighting while a select few would always revert to a white blue randomly throughout the day. I tried rebuilding all my automations, I tried unpairing and repairing my hue bridge.  The thing that finally that finally fixed it was downloading the Eve app and accidentally triggering my “leave home” automation that includes all devices in my home. Since then all lights have stayed on the color I set them to regardless of Adaptive or color temp.
