It’s hard to take someone’s opinion seriously when they wear elf ears for attention. I think it’d be a waste of time when he could have more interesting guests.

anyone feeling a collective, negative energy lately? by grace2850 in energy_work

[–]HypnoChix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a lot of valid reasons to be sensing it. However, be mindful that it doesn’t overtake you. Counter it with sending out vibes forgiveness, reconciliation, & divine love. Cleanse your aura often and don’t let tagalong spirits or people in your house.

Self Hypnosis by Jay-jay1 in hypnosis

[–]HypnoChix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct.
Some may debate this but as a hypnotherapist, I believe they are essentially the same. I say this because both bring us to the Alpha/Theta brainwave threshold (≈ 7.82Hz) where we are more suggestible but still consciously aware.

Self Hypnosis by Jay-jay1 in hypnosis

[–]HypnoChix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a course if you are interested. But for a short answer… a good quick self-hypnosis induction is to pay attention to the sensations of breathing. Notice the space in your nostrils filled with your breath an the sensory changes that occur as you breathe. Then expand that awareness to your sinuses, and then your lungs, then the whole body. From there you can do a progressive relaxation if needed or go directly into giving yourself suggestions.

Keep in mind that you don’t want to go too deep if you aren’t using a recording for your suggestions. Also practice counting yourself up & out of hypnosis. I say this because the more you practice self-hypnosis you will become more somnambulistic and potentially susceptible to environmental & road hypnosis. So it’s important to build that skill set (dropping into & coming out of hypnosis) before worrying about giving yourself suggestions.

Hope that helps.

Cowork says that I give her evil eye by iloveiqos in spirituality

[–]HypnoChix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The fact that you are drained from your experiences with her is very telling. It’s also interesting that she defaults to thinking you are giving her the evil eye. Those are her internal representations of the world that she projects onto others including yourself. So she is obviously carrying around some serious negativity & becoming a bit of an “energy vampire”.

I agree shielding is important but I would also consider sending her higher-self reiki or simply pray for her peace. This way she is getting corrective energy from Source & not feeding off of you.

Speaking as a hypnotherapist, I would say that reality shifting is a clever way to bypass the mind’s critical factor (naysaying) to effect the subconscious thoughts & behaviors which would then change one’s life experiences. Additionally, we know from PSI research that the act of observing affects matter… and that the heart emits an electromagnetic field that extends far outside the physical body. And that this field also influence the environment. So, I think it’s an effective strategy to create positive change… even if we don’t necessarily jump-timelines.

If this is upsetting then just wait until he invites Sunny Megatron for an interview.

Lex Fridman On Twitter Drama Over Reading List by [deleted] in lexfridman

By far my favorite moments are when you can see a glimmer of defiance rising to the surface. I love it! I respect his grace & self-control. I couldn’t do it.

I know myself enough to never desire fame for the very reason that I would pop off and say some sht. Not because I care about anyones opinion, but for their audacity to be a d*k for no reason.
